Great scenic tour with education combined with a smooth sail to all the harbor brings! San Diego is so beautiful. You get to see all the naval installations, the planes, new and old piers, the seals, and Coronado Island. Best idea for visitors and for the whole family. The captain and other staff were great and super friendly!

We saw dozens of whales, some close up. The narration was very helpful / educational (although it was nearly impossible to hear him from the very front of the boat (lower level). The photographer on board gave us copies of their photos, at no charge. All in all a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend the Monterey Whale Watching Tour by Princess Monterey Whale Watching!! 💖Not: I don't think I would pay the extra $20 next time for the upper deck view. From the upper deck, one can only see out the sides and the rear of the boat, not out front. That direction can only be viewed from the lower deck.

This is super unique and one of the coolest experiences my husband and I have had. We went at night and the cool weather was perfect for the roaring fire pits and warm irish cream coffee. It was romantic and also cool to go with friends. We will definitely go again and experience the daytime version.

Was our first boat tour...
Was our first boat tour and being out in the sea. Family enjoyed the ride. Saw a bunch of dolphins. No actual whale sighting but did see an occasional water spouting out into the air. Sat on the top deck, whether was sunny but the further we went out to sea, the breeze was much cooler. Staff was friendly and informative. Tickets were reasonable. Parking was free across the street from the building.
