We had a group of 16 of us from all over North America to Long Beach on a sales reward trip and this was a perfect little sunset cruise before a dinner we had planned. They narrate the trip to give you some history of the area, the port, and other landmarks and it is a fun way to learn more about Long Beach. I would recommend it for a group activity.

We saw dozens of whales, some close up. The narration was very helpful / educational (although it was nearly impossible to hear him from the very front of the boat (lower level). The photographer on board gave us copies of their photos, at no charge. All in all a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend the Monterey Whale Watching Tour by Princess Monterey Whale Watching!! 💖Not: I don't think I would pay the extra $20 next time for the upper deck view. From the upper deck, one can only see out the sides and the rear of the boat, not out front. That direction can only be viewed from the lower deck.

Such a wonderful experience! Beautiful scenery, great hiking weather. The views! And to top it off, an amazing tour guide— Mark B. He shared lots of interesting facts about the history of Griffith Park and the Hollywood(land) sign. We did the three hour hike (round trip) to the top of Mt. Lee, with its panoramic views of Los Angeles. This was a truly fabulous way to spend my last full day in LA. Highly recommend!!

Great experience for animal lovers
Great place to see animals. Parking is paid via an app and you can get an annual membership with different tiers of benefits. It has a ton of different animals, and they were out and about. I really enjoyed seeing the jaguar, red panda, and the panda - but all the animals are cute. They do giraffe feedings but it ends at 1pm so try to go earlier if you really want to feed the giraffes. There is bench seating and the ride across the park was fun, although I wished that the park enforced the line, as there was a particularly rude woman who cut in front of us and brought her family with her with nary an apology or an ounce of shame. I hope she has the day she deserves.Other than that, the food was also pretty good (better than the food at the safari park). I liked the chicken tender spot and I also liked the chicken and waffle plate. The environment is good for families and young children.

Traffic was so horrible and I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to make it on time. I didn’t make it on time but the staff are so friendly and the boat ride was amazing. The staff was very helpful and helped me make a later reservation. I enjoyed the staff members and the view while I was inside the boat was amazing. I can’t wait to visit again.

Was our first boat tour and being out in the sea. Family enjoyed the ride. Saw a bunch of dolphins. No actual whale sighting but did see an occasional water spouting out into the air. Sat on the top deck, whether was sunny but the further we went out to sea, the breeze was much cooler. Staff was friendly and informative. Tickets were reasonable. Parking was free across the street from the building.

Fantastic experience all around! Great naturalist Colleen and crew, all passionate, friendly and helpful. Boat is great, plenty of options for where to view from. We saw a good abundance of sealife- many birds (including a boobie!), sea lions, over 200 gorgeous dolphins, a juvenile humpback who paid us several visits, and even some mobulae way off in the distance. Get out there! Great company to go with.

Had a great hike all the way up behind the Hollywood sign with Jon (our guide) and his sidekick Mozart! Jon was engaging, fun and full of interesting history and facts about the area as we walked along. He also took some amazing videos and pix of us, and we are so grateful. They turned out so good!! Met some fun locals that are regulars on the hiking trail to the sign, and Jon and Mozart knew them all. It was great to say hi and chat. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Had a blast all around and would highly recommend this tour. The views and the whole experience were WELL worth the $🤩🙌❤️
