Ever vigilant for skallywags, the crew knows the cunning Sneaky Pete could lurk around any corner. Armed with water cannons for battle, divvying up a haul of gold and jewels, and reveling in true pirate fashion, our band of adventurers savors the rewards of authentic piracy. We sail through Charleston harbor and its nearby creeks, offering stunning views while your kids enjoy their Best Day Ever!

What To Expect
Embark on a thrilling escapade with your children aboard the 45-foot wooden Black Ghost Pirate Ship! They’ll be recounting tales of their exploits for years to come. Assigned their own pirate names and briefed by the Captain, our spirited crew sets sail into a realm brimming with pirate wonders!
Your Pirate Adventure Cruise is packed with excitement! The initial 15 minutes are dedicated to outfitting the young buccaneers with pirate attire (optional) and schooling them in the art of pirate speech. Once prepared, the crew climbs aboard, and we navigate the Ashley River toward Wappoo Creek.
This pirate adventure cruise is a heart-pounding, ocean-spanning quest for treasure. Before launching from the Black Ghost, every child is officially inducted as a member of the Black Ghost Crew. The fun never stops, with sea shanties to belt out, treasure to unearth, and maps to decipher.
No time for lolligagin'! Our rogue pirate, Sneaky Pete, swipes the key to our submerged loot! Arrrgh! We must blast him with our water cannons to reclaim it—but fear not, victory is always ours!

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Pirates of Charleston: Pirate Adventures and River cruises. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (EDT).
