We took the Harbor Sunset Boat Cruise on the Carolina Belle during the midweek in early May. The vessel was not crowded at all. Maybe 40 passengers total, which made for plenty of room to roam around on the deck without intruding on anyone’s space.There was some wind and choppy waters, but that didn’t affect the boat ride at all, as it was smooth throughout the entire cruise. The evening skies were clear with temperatures in the 60’s.The captain gave an excellent narrative throughout the journey and with speakers strategically positioned around the boat, it was easy to hear and understand him. Along with soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, snacks such as popcorn and hot dogs are sold on board. But if you want a hot dog you better get them before the vessel turns around by Fort Sumter because that’s when the crew disposes of any that are still left in the cooker.Overall, this harbor cruise was very relaxing and a perfect way for us to end a day of touring in Charleston. It was my favorite activity while visiting the area.

Outstanding boat trip. Beautiful boat and wonderful day to be on the water. Drinks served to where you are sitting. We had a great time seeing the harbour and we did see dolphins on the way back!

While the harbor tour was quite full, it was an orderly and well organized experience. It was a cloudy day, but there was no rain and great visibility. The tour narrator was funny and charming. The experience was truly great.
