Skip the bridge traffic, tourist traps and parking nightmares and visit a quiant New England coastal village instead. We are located at the Mattapoisett Boatyard, about 5 minutes off I - 195.
Our itineraries depend on how you want to spend your time on the water. Whether you are looking for a sporty sail in the bay or a quiet cruise along the picturesque shoreline we will make your day. We also specialize in Bachellorette and engagement parties, wedding launch services, regattas and spectator fleet.

What To Expect
Set sail on scenic Buzzards Bay aboard our exceptional fleet, where every voyage is a celebration. We're your go-to sailing and power boat charter company, crafting unforgettable day trips for families, bachelorette parties, corporate outings, and more.
Petrel is a classic New England bass boat that is a perfect picnic boat. Excursions include trips to Cuttyhunk, Tarpauline Cove, Hadley's Harbor or a two-hour cruise of the coastline along pictueres Marion, Mattaposiett and Fairhaven. See historical sights from the water, such as Forts Phoenix, Rodman and Tabor, the Cleveland Ledge Lighthouse, and many more. It all depends on how you would like to Spend the Day on Buzzards Bay!

- Motion through the water will be haphazard and unpredictable at times. Be aware that motion sickness can occur while boating. Sprays of water into the cockpit are also a common aspect of motorboating. You may get wet during the cruise.
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Our fleet are all on moorings. To access your charter, all guests should have the agility to walk down an inclined boat ramp, onto a floating dock, then transfer between a launch (water taxi) and the charter boat.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (EDT).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
