This was my first time on the DA....We went to the Ship of Fools Grateful Dead cruise and weather held off ....people were awesome and we really had an excellent time...Met The Captain Anthony!!~ We will be back.....

We were on the upper deck, beautiful weather and smooth sailing. A nice leisurely pace so you could look around. We saw 3 bald eagles on the way back up the river! Highly recommend the trip.

The tour was very informative and nicely presented. The only problem is that it needs updating; one of the items discussed on the tour was no longer in the spot discussed; rather, we believe it is inside the State Museum now, not on the courtyard. (The 40x70' sculpture.) Otherwise, very helpful and pleasant.

Great way to know the history of a city as you do it at your own pace. Go for it and enjoy Albany or any other place.

Cruise was very well done. Narration was interesting and well informed. Scenery was great. Cruise ship was clean, with food and beverages available. Would definitely go again.

We took on the twilight/sunset cruise. The band was really good. We also had our dog with us and she was very relaxed. The ship was a really nice 3 decker. We were outside and when it cooled down, we sat on the first deck comfortably.

Enjoyed the trip very much. There is an old song about "Taking the Night Boat to Albany." We were saying it would be fabulous for one of the area museums to sponsor a special tour in which musicians play period music and people are encouraged to wear clothing reminiscent or like that of the 1920s. The song "Why Do They All Take the Night Boat to Albany?" was written for the 1918 musical Sinbad and was also performed by Al Jolson around that time, with a popular recording date noted as April 29, 1918. The song features music by Jean Schwartz and lyrics by Sam M. Lewis and Joe Young.

Renovation of exterior of State Capital disrupted flow causing several detours. Also audio guides just not as good as in person guide. Hence not an excellent grade.,

Nice ride I was in my scooter so it is handicapped accessible to ride up a ramp we sat in the front but with everyone standing in front of us my view was their rears not the water! I should’ve parked right up front but we were told the chairs couldn’t be moved and my husband couldn’t sit next to me so we stayed where we could sit together hoping people would be courteous but they weren’t ! Overall a nice ride the staff were very nice & helpful.

The weather cooperated with the tour and our team had a lovely time on the cruise. The admission fee was very reasonable and the staff was very accommodating. The hot dog was delicious and the price was reasonable. Overall, it was a very good experience in lieu of our annual office picnic. Thanks much!

Dutch Apple Cruises provided a very informative and enjoyable cruise along the Hudson River centering on the history of the Albany area. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, providing a running commentary of the river, shoreline and events that shaped the area throughout 400 years. It was a fantastic experience and my wife, a native of The Netherlands, was impressed with our guide's extensive knowledge of the history of Dutch settlers and explorers in the area.

Had a great time. Guide pointed out many interesting things along the shoreline.
