Overlooking the Alaska Mountain Range and can see great view from top of the ridge. Amazing view of the dark night sky within only a 40 minutes drive from Fairbanks.

We can also teach you how to take pictures of the aurora borealis.

Also, for an extra fee,
We can take pictures of you with the aurora for an additional fee.

Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change.
We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies.
Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change.
Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations.
Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy.

Aurora Viewing - Aurora Husky Lodge , Great view from top of the ridge

My wife and I were in Fairbanks and looked for a remote location to view the northern lights. Michi’s lodge was the perfect place, which was located in a remote area away from Fairbanks so no light pollution was seen. Road conditions were quite difficult when we were there but Michi and his wife picked us up from Fairbanks and drove us safely to and from the lodge. The lodge had two floors and we waited around on the second floor which was warm and comfortable with couches and tables. Cookies, coffee/hot chocolate, and hot water were provided in the waiting area. The large outdoor balcony was perfect to step out to view the lights and when it god too cold (it was -35F) I could quickly warm back up. I went two days as Mother Nature didn’t cooperate the first night but luckily we were able to spot the lights the second day. All around excellent tour, highly recommend!

Great pick up service! It is an unbelievable location at a remote location. The NorthernLights were easily seen with many different colors within the dancing ribbons! Amazing experience and wonderful photographer to capture the moment! Thank You again, Michi!

We has such a great time! The place is cute and very local, home of a dog mushing champion, hosts very fun and friendly. Perfect spot to see the Aurora.

Michi is an incredible tour guide, super knowledgable in northern light and dog mushing! He owns a beautiful cabin that's an hour away from Fairbanks, which is a prime location for aurora viewing when days are clear. Michi picked us up from downtown fairbanks despite the extreme weather. We had an amazing time waiting for northern lights in his cabin, entertained by his stories, snacks and drinks! Highly recommend this tour!

Stucked in a crowded lodge watching TV. We should have gone with other tour that went North of Fairbanks and they saw Northern lights.
