Unforgettable trip — even without the aurora!
I traveled solo and joined this tour on September 20, and it was a highlight of my Alaska trip. Our guide, Ron, was wonderful — friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Over the 15-hour journey he shared stories about Alaska's culture, history, and economy, answered everyone's questions, and kept the conversation lively the whole way. We didn't see the aurora due to the weather, but the Dalton Highway scenery was unique and the day was thoroughly enjoyable. Ron even shared his photos with us afterwards. Highly recommended!

My trip north to the Arctic Circle with Midnight Sky Adventures was a great experience from start to finish. It was my first and probably last trip north of the Circle. Ron, the owner/operator, made it a pleasure by "breaking the ice" with early conversations among the 5 passengers in the group. He was prompt, organized, knowledgeable, pleasant, and prepared. He spoke when necessary without trying to fill space between landmarks. The tour van was well-equipped and supplied for the 13.5-hour round trip. I'm satisfied that I received good value for my money.

The last tour to Chena Hot Springs and the Aurora Lights. Was amazing, I got to see the Northern Lights. Our tour guide was very professional The only problem was his microphone and speaker weren't working and we couldn't hear him on the back 2 rows. He may have a sore throat the next few days. We had a great experience. We drove to multiple spots attempting to chase the Aurora. Our tour guide with very knowledgeable and took us right to the spots where we could see them. Our tour guide had been chasing the lights for nineteen years. I definitely would recommend booking this tour.

Very enjoyable
Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the lights very much but we can’t control nature. What we can control was the atmosphere while waiting. We had a great time! They fixed pizza and hotdogs for the group. They had a wide variety of chips and tea/coffee to choose from. Even had board games to pass the time. When the lights did show for a bit they were very helpful with setting cameras up to capture things. Thank you the experience!

Gina stepped in when our tour companies booked with didn’t show up. We were a bit hostile as we waited an hour for our guide. Gina quickly out us at ease with her sweet personality. We had a great time at the hot springs. Toured the ice museum with her and got our wonderful appletinis! Then plenty of time to soak in the hot springs after an amazing dinner. Gina gave us recommendations on the menu so we had the scallops. Although we didn’t see northern lights she explained how she looks for activity and tried hard to find some. We loved her knoweledge for the area and were excited that she was going to be our guide the next day for the North Pole trip.

Jessica was a fantastic tour guide for our trip. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions. She took great care of OC us and the drive truly wasn’t bad (though long). She made every effort to find the lights on the way back but the weather did us in.
