Enjoy a guided, eco-based kayaking adventure through Folly Creek and its maze of tidal creeks that wrap around uninhabited hammock islands. This 2-hour marsh kayaking excursion is paced for intermediate, novice, and young adult paddlers alike. Daniel was an absolutely fantastic tour guide - knowledgeable, funny, and enthusiastic! We ended up kayaking approx. 4-5 miles around the marsh and ended up seeing a dolphin and active osprey nest, and heard all about the marsh ecosystem. We only had two kayaks on our tour (plus the guide), so it was an intimate experience. The pace was comfortable for everything that we were able to see. Highly recommend!

Our guide was Alyssa, she was awesome! We had thorough instructions on how to hold the paddle, steer, what to do in an emergency, etc. I’ve never kayaked and felt totally comfortable and safe in the boat. We saw tons of wildlife. Alyssa was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw, the marsh, and historical facts about the area! I’d say if you’re in the Charleston area this is a must do activity! The water was calm and the weather was perfect.

We had a great time on the two-hour guided kayak tour! Our guide was welcoming and knowledgeable. The views of the marshes were beautiful and we even saw a couple of dolphin fins pop up from the water. There were dry bags available to borrow for devices and other personal items, and our guide went over paddling and steering before we went out. It was a lot of fun, and we’d definitely do this again.
