We loved it! Took this tour at night and found it informative and fun! The app knew where we were and the next stop was always in front of us when the next story began. We went at our own pace, paused when we wanted to. After multiple structured tours over our trip, this was a nice change and very entertaining.

This was extremely easy and convenient. Once you download the tour to your phone via an app, the recorded guide leads you through the streets of Charleston with tales of ghosts and pirates. Because you are using locations on your phone the audio knows when you arrive to your destination and if you’re going the right way. The narrator’s voice is pleasant. Our whole family enjoyed it. You can go at your own pace so to me, it was better than going on an actual tour. If you have a large group of people, I suggest a blue tooth speaker. It’s a great price. You really can’t beat it.

This was a great option because we could go on our own time and at our own pace. Simple to follow and the narration was excellent! Learned a lot of fun facts while exploring this historic city! Definitely recommend! We both wore our headphones.

Self guided tour hit all the spots that group tours go to, but we lingered when we wanted for as long as wanted. Be aware that the jail is closed, being restored- the outside is covered in scafolding.

It’s was well worth it better Than paying $30 a person for the ghost tour I would suggest that you being a bigger speaker though my phone wasn’t very loud.
