This narrated art tour aboard an antique trolley is the perfect way to see all the amazing sculptures, statues, murals, and buildings in beautiful Sarasota. The tour guide, Jerome Chesley, an artist himself, was the perfect guide to highlight the stunning pieces of art we saw on the tour. He was a wealth of knowledge. We came away with a new found appreciation of lovely Sarasota.

Sarasota is known for its support of the arts and riding in the trolley and getting to see so many amazing murals and sculptures throughout the city was SO interesting! We have vacationed down here for over 30 years and yet have missed seeing so much art!! I highly recommend this fun 2 hour tour.

this tour was just what I was hoping it would be. We had seen much of the art in front of and on buildings but didn't know anything about it. The tour guide was knowledgable about the artist and pointed out other pieces by the artist, so you could really get a sense of the artist style. Also saw some that you would have to go a little bit out of your way to view in a normal trip around the city. Included some architectural art and history .I have been on 5 tours with this company and so far this was 1 or 2 on my list. The Amish tour was right at the top of my experiences with this company also. We actually spent closer to 2 hours on this tour so that we could see everything they wanted to show us. Have been on 3 tours with Siggi as our driver and he is a "hoot" also. Great driver.

Our guide [Jerome/Jerry] and driver, Ziggy provided a fascinating and informative afternoon tour! Although we've visited Sarasota for several years we had no idea how much public art is positioned around the city!
Loved the up close peak and informative narrative! Highly recommend the tour for anyone new OR familiar with Sarasota - you will witness art you've missed!

This was an incredible hour and a half!
Our guide, Jerome Chesley, a local artist, knew the subject so thoroughly and shared just the right amount with easy enthusiasm that was a pleasure to listen to!
I've been on several other tours where Siggy was the same jovial fun driver.Like other tours I have been on with Discover SRQ, this was fabulous! Long enough, yet short enough and packed with interesting Sarasota facts and tidbits.

The University Park Women's Club first social event of the season, the Trolley Tour of Sarasota's Public Art, was very well received. Both the owner of Discover Sarasota, Tammy Hauser, and Jerry Chesley, the art historian, were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Picking us up at our country club and dropping off 3 members downtown to attend a funeral was really appreciated!
A party atmosphere while obtaining knowledge is an absolute winner!

The bus was perfectly air conditioned. The tour guide knew his material and was easy to hear. We were given iced water as we boarded the bus exactly on time. The 90 minute tour went by quickly as there was always something interesting with no breaks in between sculptures and murals and lots of facts of interest. I am definitely taking another tour with them.
