Glacier hiking is a fun activity for virtually anyone with the proper equipment and an experienced guide. Explore the hidden treasures of the Matanuska glacier on this 7-hour day trip from Anchorage. Use mountaineering crampons to actually "walk on water" as you hike the glacier with a professional guide. See close-up views of the best accessible features of the glacier including crevasses, seracs, unique ice formations as well as the high point with views of a beautiful ice fall. With round trip transportation, proper instructions, and the equipment necessary you will have a fantastic experience on an actual glacier.
