Great tour and even better tour guide Hannah!
Booked at the last minute due to a cancellation and glad we did. Great experience to get super close to the glacier. The waterfall was even more impressive due the sheer size and sound. Is a bit strenuous if you have a bad back or shoulder, but a great memory. Hannah, our guide made the whole experience so much better. Her jokes and exuberant attitude made the whole experience unforgettable. I highly recommend the tour and you can only hope to get Hannah as a guide, she'll keep you in laughter the whole time one bad tour guide joke after another.

Where is the 6th star. We saw a huge family of ORCA with one swimming under the boat. One even came up vertically with their upper body perhaps 4ft clear of the surface. Guide Jade, and captain CJ were truly outstanding. Our driver to the dock - Charlie was also great fun and full of interesting facts about Juneau and Alaska.

Superior Experiences
The whale watching excursion was a superior experience. The naturalist and the boat captain were knowledgeable, funny and caring and I can’t rate them high enough. It was my mistake not to allow for more time at the Mendenhall glacier to hike to Nugget Falls. If anyone is considering this excursion and has any desire to see the falls up close, book the longer version. It’s worth it. Next time we go there, we will allow for more time to hike there and back. Despite that, you can still see it from the visitors center area.

Captain Mac and crew members Hannah and Meredith were wonderful to sail with. Each of them were as excited as spotting wildlife as they would be if it was their very first time. The captain was great about keeping an eye out and also carefully steering the boat to keep the humpbacks and orcas in easy view. I have NEVER been on a wildlife cruise where I have seen so many whales of any kind. It was utterly amazing! Hint: take the EARLY cruise. We were originally scheduled for a 10:20, which didn't have enough people on it. Therefore we were switched to the 8:20 cruise and it definitely paid off in wildlife viewing.
