Sunset Stand Up Paddle with Photos and Turtles
Overview
Paddle along the historic Anahulu stream, home of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. These enormous and friendly sea creatures swim peacefully along the river. They can grow up to 500lbs!
Enjoy learning about the history of the location while learning skills and tips about stand up paddling. Come during the evening to enjoy a stunning Hawaiian sunset.
You will begin with a brief lesson on land and then paddle across a calm bay into the Anahulu stream. This activity is great for families, large groups, couples, or 1-on-1. All sessions include photos.
Don't have good balance? New to the sport? Don't know how to swim? No worries -- All our instructors are certified lifeguards, super friendly, and highly trained to give you an awesome experience on the water.

What To Expect
Your 2- hour paddleboard experience begins with a brief lesson on land before entering calm water. We travel up the Anahulu river, home of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Sunset is the PRIME TIME to see turtles, since they meander back up river at the end of the day. These gentle giants grace the river, coming up occasionally to say "hi".
Learn the skills and techniques of stand up paddling as you travel along the calm river.
Paddle against an awe-striking Hawaiian sunset as the clouds change from pink to purple. Photos are included and shared directly to your phone.
Your guide is a Red Cross certified lifeguard, with extensive stand up paddle training. Lifejackets are available upon request. No mosquitoes or strong current in the river. Our paddling area is rarely affected by waves.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
