Overview
Enjoy a prime opportunity to see humpback whales as they migrate through Hawaiian waters from Alaska between December and May. Setting out from Kihei, cruise to an area off the southern end of Maui with one of Hawaii's highest whale populations. You’ll travel in a large, sturdy raft that provides a speedy ride so you can maximize your viewing time. Learn about the whales from informative commentary provided by an onboard naturalist on this tour limited to 7 people (this may change as restrictions ease up but no more than 15), a smaller group size than most whale tours.

Would highly recommend this whale watching experience for an up close water level view of the whales. Our guides were excellent and felt safe in the windy Maui weather. Our kids age 12 and 8 made memories that will last a life time. We had a curious baby and the mom whale go under the boat. We would do this trip again.

The location was preferable. The crew was accommodating, friendly and good humored. Boat was comfortable. Saw whales within 5 minutes, as the crew were knowledgeable about humpback recent activity. They moved when the ‘show was over’ to find new sightings.

Our boat captain and nature guide were top notch made the ride fun. Really were able to make the rough sea’s tolerable. Made for great conversation for whale facts. The kids loved the mic drop to hear the whales. We say whales within a few minutes of being out the harbor. The great thing about these zodiac boats is 1) they r quick and are able get places most others can’t 2) makes for a thrilling ride if your into that kinda stuff. I also appreciated the music choices too. We hit towards the end of whale season and still walked away wet pleased. I would recommend and also will be booking them in the future. Checking in was a breeze and getting to and from the boats was a cinche too. A+++ for the 90 min whale tour.

The tour guides, Alli and Sean, were great. We saw several whales, including one that breached. Twice they put the sonar in the water so we could hear them, which was incredible.

We walked to the boat dock, easy quick boarding at 7am, friendly knowledgeable guides, lots of sightings with a great closeup finale of a family coming right toward us, mom flipping over to give us a look before diving back down. Great way to start the day.
