John was a great tour guide for our full-day Road to Hana trip. He was very effective at catering the tour to our needs. His ability to build rapport with all of the individuals in our group really enhanced the experience. We ran into bad weather after lunch. With all of the hairpin turns, managing oncoming traffic, and continuing the tour I was impressed at his driving skill. Excellent tour; highly recommend!

Our road to Hana trip was such a great adventure in a big part in thanks to our driver Shayne. He is laid back and full of great info. We were able to stop and do things that are not going to be on a self guided tour. It is well worth the money to book with Shayne. Mahalo Shayne!

We had a great time. The staff were very helpful. We saw a lot of turtles and numerous fish. On the way back we saw a pod of Hawiian Spinner Dolphins.

Guides JD and Billy were fantastic, they put us on whales very late in the season and were knowledgeable about the whales behavior.

From start to finish felt it was a great, well organized experience! Our group is from Iowa, not around water very much, much less the ocean, but we were well instructed, well equipped and had a great time! Recommend you give them a try!

We had an amazing experience on our Road to Hana excursion with Experience Hawaii Tours, and a big part of that was our tour guide, Shayne.Shayne was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about Maui and the Road to Hana. Throughout the day, he shared so much interesting information about the island, its history, culture, and the beautiful places we visited. He was also incredibly accommodating to our needs and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire excursion.What stood out most was how safety-conscious Shayne was. He navigated the Road to Hana with confidence and care, always making safety a priority. He also knew exactly how to plan our stops so that we could avoid the crowds and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.Shayne made the entire day feel smooth, relaxed, and effortless. Our tour guide Ida was amazing. He was very informative about the island and the culture. Showed us all the local areas and made it very enjoyable. The community of Hana is an absolute breathtaking way of living and their family dynamic is amazing. This is so worth the tour. Also, the drive through the multiple waterfalls and scenery is absolutely stunning. You do not want to skip. It was beautiful even during the start of the hurricane and in a flash flood.Adding this for those that have been told it’s super curvy and if you get car sick don’t do. I personally have severe car sickness and I did not get sick. It can be curvy and uphill but most of the curvy you are stopping looking at the waterfalls so it prevents sickness. Hope this helps!!!

From start to finish, the crew and experience was awesome. We were running late and they remained calm and kind, helping us to get all we need done before push off. The ride itself was wonderful - it really felt like a guided, relaxed tour in the middle of the ocean. Hearing about the history of Maui and the surrounding cities was special. Then, to top it all off the snorkeling was amazing! We saw lots of sea life, turtles, even a reef shark and a few dolphins. Above all - the crew was so positive and welcoming...the options to purchase rash guards, hats, adult beverages for five bucks (yahoo), and pictures was great. The vessel itself was so spacious - lots of opportunity to have sunshine or shade. Would definitely recommend this experience!

This was our favorite outing on Maui this trip!! Boat was ready. Staff was great and the turtles were AWESOME!! We couldn’t have had a better time. They supplied all equipment (except bring a towel)!! Continental breakfast/coffee/juice and hot dog and chips/drinks and a cookie for lunch. Not over the top but truly an AMAZING experience!

We had such an amazing experience! Lots of whales, and the guides were very informative and did a great job at getting us in front of whales left and right! Would highly recommend booking this whale watching tour for all ages

Awesome expertise about the whales and wildlife in general. It was the perfect amount of people on the boat making sure you never had to miss a whale from someone standing in front of you. Billy and his partner were fun to be with and definitely make it worth it. I’ve done catamaran whale tours in HI before and will never go back to that after this experience! Truly amazing
