Take an adventure with Riverboat Roger guiding you through Mississippi river backwaters surrounded by islands teeming with life and full of beautiful tall trees. There is an island with a sandy beach about a mile from the launch site (great place for a picnic). Bring an extra sandwich for your guide for an extra 30 minutes. Islands and trees break the current and winds in this area. Even on windy days the ride is normally smooth and easy, and current is always slow.
Many species of birds, fish, turtles, and other wildlife make this place home. Early spring and Fall bring huge flocks of migrating waterfowl. There are several Bald Eagle nests in the area. In late summer acres of lily pads bloom huge beautiful yellow flowers.
Start times are flexible and we may need to change start time based on weather, feeding schedules, or other commitments.

If you want to take the boats without a guide you can rent them for 3.5 hours for the same price as the day tour. Price is the same for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 people. It is a group rate. We use as many boats as necessary to accommodate all passengers. We have one canoe and two kayaks.
