Welcome to Arizona

Arizona, the 48th and last of the contiguous states admitted to the Union, is the essential Southwestern state. The southern part of the state is comprised by the Sonoran Desert ecosystem and is very hot, while the northern reaches include evergreen-forested mountains, ski resorts, and the awesome Grand Canyon. The Old West lives in the natural red rock sculptures of Sedona and the narrow slick rock passages of Antelope Canyon in Navajo country outside of the small town of Page. The Phoenix metropolitan area is one of America’s largest, and golf in Scottsdale is great, but nature is the star in Arizona as desert sunsets frame the iconic silhouette of the Saguaro Cacti unique to Arizona.
