The southern part of the state is comprised by the Sonoran Desert ecosystem and is very hot, while the northern reaches include evergreen-forested mountains, ski resorts, and the awesome Grand Canyon. The Old West lives in the natural red rock sculptures of Sedona and the narrow slick rock passages of Antelope Canyon in Navajo country outside of the small town of Page. The Phoenix metropolitan area is one of America’s largest, and golf in Scottsdale is great, but nature is the star in Arizona as desert sunsets frame the iconic silhouette of the Saguaro Cacti unique to Arizona.

Brian “The Cajun Cowboy” was a very competent leader. He made sure my Mom felt comfortable after a bad experience a few years ago. He gave her back the confidence she needed to feel comfortable on a horse again. Getting to go across a river was fun. The part going through the winery was beautiful. Remember to read the instructions on what to wear!

Our guide, Steven the Heathen, was simlly amazing. He respectfully related some amazing history while injecting a good bit of humor and fun as well. I’m not even into the paranormal, but by the time I got home he had me researching his true stories. Well worth the time and the money, and I’d do it again if in town.

Very well run organization. Communication leading up to the excursion was excellent. Started with very good lunch followed by a charcuterie box and glass of champagne on board. 2 hour ride through the Verde River canyon and back for an additional 2 hours. Beautiful scenery, excellent train car host and narrator.!

I tend to stress over not knowing what to expect, where to go, what to do. This company gave amazing direction at every point. From clear signs to the parking lot, checking in, and getting setup in the UTV - all seamless and easygoing. The Centipede guided tour was an absolute blast. Even my mother, who's never driven was able to take the reigns. Trevor, our guide, was the best. I really appreciated the available water breaks to switch over drivers and get some phot ops. For the price and the experience - I would highly recommend again and again. *Wear the provided mask over your nose, or you'll be sneezing dirt for days :)

It was a great experience everyone at the ranch were so helpful and friendly. Kayaking on the river was amazing there was so much going on with so many people out there enjoying the experience. People rafting ,paddle boarding,fishing, floating,playing music. You are never alone. Don’t worry just do it and you will be so glad you did.

It’s worth the price, staff makes you comfortable in your ability to operate the atv prior to going onto the actual trail and the tour guides we were with were funny and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend!

Had no idea what to expect. First time on a kayak and the Verde river. Really pleasant stretch. Nothing wild. You can relax and float or paddle. Great for a first time experience. Cottonwood trees were shedding their seeds looked like snow and was really pretty. Perfect weather. 85 air, water was 55. Our guide Danny was great and helpful. Would love to do this again.

The tour guide was awesome! We tried cactus that tour guide offered that he picked on our trip! It was definitely worth the money and would absolutely do it again if we are visiting again! We just wish we added more to our trip there, but we were on a schedule.
