We had a wonderful experience with guide Sebastian. He shared so much information about the ecosystem and we saw a variety of birds. Definitely a highlight of our first trip to HHI and would love to go back!

Our 24/26 year olds enjoyed the tour. They saw and learned a lot about the area, how oysters thrive and had a good workout paddling. It’s was a great 2 hour experience.

Went out with tour guide Grace, who was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and fun! It was an almost perfect day for the trip, sunny, low 80s, light breeze. We got to see many shorebirds, both indigenous of South Carolina, and migratory. I would definitely recommend this tour, but would also look to do the morning tours if you're here in the summer as I imagine it can get pretty warm out on the water. Our group of 4 rented 2 single kayaks and one tandem. In all honesty, the single kayaks are much easier to maneuver through the marshes even for a novice, so unless someone is really against being in their own kayak, I'd go with that option.

Captain Dan was an excellent guide. We saw different pods of dolphins and an eagle, and he gave us a brief history of our surroundings and Hilton head.

Harriet was a great guide-she had many interesting historical and natural bits of information. The kayaks were very nice Pungo 120’s with comfy seats, and the floating dock entry was effortless and safe. We had a high tide so we’re able to get into all areas in the marsh-saw a dolphin close by and lots of birds. A very enjoyable paddle!

If you find yourself in Hilton Head you must book a kayak tour with Sarah Bo Danzell. She’s a native of the low country, she’s informative, and is full of energy and smiles. My sister and I had so much fun on the water and listening to the many fun facts about Hilton Head and what the marshes and the water has to offer. Would absolutely highly recommend the tour but more so would recommend Sarah!
