Four couples vacationing together took this hop on hop off tour by Old Savannah Tours. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. They provide bottled water for $1, which is great since everywhere else in the historic area seems to charge $3 or more. Great way to see and learn about Savannah.Added bonus, if you’re staying in a hotel in the historic river district, they’ll pick you up and drop you off at your hotel free if charge.

We took this trolley tour on our first day in Savannah. We actually took it in the morning but was raining and was hard to see the sites so we went back in the afternoon and took it again. Really fun tour with historical characters that hop on and off and tell you about the area. Saw a lot of interesting places on the stops. Jeff was a great trolley driver and made it fun with his stories about the homes, etc.... Would definitely recommend this trolley tour if you are in the area.

We had a lot of fun with the Hop-On-Hop-Off Trolley Tour. We really enjoyed the visits with the historic characters that joined us. The young man playing Jackie Robinson was especially entertaining. All three of our tour guides/drivers were different and enjoyable. I would recommend riding the tour around once to decide where you want to get off and spend more time. Then take the tour again and get off when you want to spend more time.

We stayed on our hop on hop off for the full 90 minutes—the driver—Cindy—was also an engaging guide. She pointed our attention to things and gave context to what we were seeing in a way we could not have duplicated by strolling around for the money! We loved the tour and we loved Savannah!

We had the “Hop on Hop off ticket”. As it turned out we were so entertained and we were learning so much from our Tour Guide, Gertrude, that we stayed on the bus the whole time. As for the driver, Margaret, she was amazing. We were not able to get back on the bus because we ran out of time. Definitely… 5+. Should have gone earlier in the day and we would have gone back and gotten off at several sites she mentioned.

Great tour. Did a tour twice to get a feel for the historic area. Each driver does them differently. Art was great fun, learned everyone’s name and included us in his dialogue. Great experience.
