Silvia and Natacha of Oh My Cod tours went above expectations as we required a change in plans for my friend who walks with a cane and could not walk far. Natacha picked us up in a car and gave us a private tour. They are professional, knowledgeable and fun! The tour was fascinating and Natacha is a chef with an interest in varied world cuisines. The wine at Insula winery was delicious with 4 whites, a blush and a red and the vintner was both innovative and informative. Our lunch was scrumptious and it was the best day of our visit to Pico! We recommend it highly.

A greatly organized tour with an amazing guide, Bruno. He was very patient and knowledgeable. One of us rolled an ankle on the mountain, which added an extra 2.5 hours to our descent, and Bruno helped us every step of the way.

It was a very unique experience. Our guide Marcio was excellent - he provided guidance all the way up and down. He was very patient and kept encourage us especially when we were tired at the end. He also took a lots of pictures /vidoes and shared with us. We had a great time and unforgettable memory. Thank you Tripix.

This was a perfect choice for guidance around the island of Pico. Silvia (our perfect guide) was very knowledgeable on both the geographics & history of the wine vineyards. She was very friendly, caring, & loads of fun. Every minute spent with her was entertaining, relaxing, & full of information. Paulo at the winery was also very informative & entertaining. This was my first time to Pico. I can’t say enough about this tour. Fabio did a great job, personalizing the tour and customizing it just for me. Unfortunately, the other person that was supposed to be on the tour was unable to come, but that made it even better as Fabio could change the itinerary accordingly. We started by checking out the local unesco vineyards. Fabio did a great job explaining how vines can grow between lava rocks here on the island of pico. Then we went to the first wine tasting and it was great. I wasn’t sure how he was going to top that but he did. After touring around the island a little bit, we stopped for lunch at a local buffet that was perfect for the day. after lunch we went to a different type of wine maker a small boutique type if you may. That was located in Santa Luzia. The experience was absolutely five stars. I have had plenty of wine tastings in many places Paris, Peniche, California and more but this by far takes the cake! I highly recommend if you are looking for a full day tour and information that is more than just trivia. You should really book with art of wine. Fabio is extremely educated in all aspects and phases of winemaking. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand and helps. You really appreciate the amount of work and labor and love that goes into winemaking here in pico. Can’t forget about the quality of the wines!!!! Absolutely delicious!

Night climb is preferable to dayclimb - sunrise at the peak of Pico is worth it!! Steam from the volcano helps you stay warm until the sun has risen :-)

I climbed Pico with Justin, who is the most lovely soul and for sure will transfer on you the joy and wonderful stories! All in safe space, while considering tempo and fitness level of all members of the group. To say that I highly recommend seems like not enough!

I struggled to find the words to describe what an amazing experience my husband and I had with Fabio on April 22. Fabio's passion and true love of wine shines through in every part of this experience. He has curated an incredible tour that allows you to learn about the history of wine-making in the Azores, see unique vineyards like nowhere else in the world, and has ensured every sip of wine you taste is delicious and unlike anything you have tasted before. We visited and saw multiple vineyards, saw local landmarks, tasted incredible wine, learned about the relationship between the islands, visited the stunning Pico wine museum, and Fabio made a point to offer us the option of an incredible local lunch for an additional fee. It was honestly our favorite day of the vacation and we enjoyed it so much we immediately started telling friends and family about the tour so they could book in the future to have a magical experience just like we did. Fabio's joy comes through in everything he does, and we cannot wait to taste more wines from this fabulous winemaker in the future. It was a privilege and pleasure to spend a day learning from him. If you have any interest in history and wine, you will not be disappointed by this tour - he truly went above and beyond to give us the best personalized experience possible.

Pico climb was an amazing experience! I did this hike with my three children (17, 15 and 12 years old), and it turned out to be their favorite activity in the Azores. Matteo was an excellent guide. I would not have felt comfortable doing this climb on my own, so having a guide truly added value and made the experience much more enjoyable. Thank you for an amazing day and a memory we will never forget!

We had delicious food and great wines, but the real highlights were our guide, chef and wine producer. Silvia was incredibly knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. Natacha prepared our excellent local foods and took time to describe each dish. Paulo provided a thorough explanation of the grapes, the process and the history of the wines of Pico island. All were personally passionate about the history, people, foods and wines of this wonderful island paradise. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for great food, great wine, and a memorable time!

I had an incredible experience with Go Climb Pico Azores! Due to strong winds and cloudy weather over the past few days, we had to reschedule our hike, and I’m so glad we did. The night we went was crystal clear—we could see the entire island and a stunning sky full of stars. It was much colder than I expected, and I unfortunately forgot my gloves and scarf. Our guide, Raisa, was professional, cheerful, and incredibly well-prepared; she kindly lent me the extra gear I needed. While the climb was tougher than I imagined, hiking at night was much more pleasant than during the day because of the cool air and the beautiful night views. Raisa kept the team’s spirit high and encouraged us to push through so we could reach the summit right on time. The sunrise was absolutely spectacular—truly once-in-a-lifetime! This trip was worth every bit of effort. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with Fabio on a half day wine tour. Fabio is a pationate wine maker, he told us everything about the wine history in Pico. And what a story! A must experience wine tour on pico island. Fabio is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the regions wine and general wine making. It was so informative and a really beautiful way to experience the beauty and literal art of wine. The wine itself was exceptional and many of them rare. So it was definitely a one of a kind tour! We had such a wonderful time and cannot wait to bring our family and friends the next time we visit.
