Fantastic experience. Philip makes you feel at ease right away. After a full day of seeing, learning and tasting, I can only recommend this tour!If you go in september, you get to taste the grapes of the vineyards (if you’re lucky with the harvest season) and local fruits that grow all over the island.Best price/value guide we have on the Azores if not ever.

Jose was an amazing, knowledgeable, wonderful guide. My friend and I had an 8-day visit to Azores, with Pico island being the second island we visited, but for less than 2 days. Jose tailored the itinerary to that time and we were able to see so much even with the limited time. The highlight was him explaining the growing and harvesting of the grapes in the UNESCO wineries, one of which is his. Although we don't drink, we were fascinated by the entire process and how unique it is on the islands. Additionally, we needed to ensure we had places to eat dinner and get around and he was gracious enough to arrange for restaurant reservations, as well as provide transportation services. Lastly, he shared with us his homemade jams - which are amazing! We will never forget our time with Jose, especially the memories we created and the conversations we had. Highly, highly recommend!

The tour is such a treasure and Silvia was an excellent guide! She had a rich knowledge of the island and a clear passion for its distinctive history and culture. She is also just a very friendly person.I feel we came away with a better understanding of the island and more context for our experiences. Our experience with Oh My Cod, and with our guide Sylvia, was stellar! We learned so much and Sylvia went above and beyond to ensure our experience was fantastic. For example, I off-handedly mentioned that we hadn’t yet tasted limpets and she called ahead to the restaurant and asked that they be included in our tasting. She introduced us to Paolo, the owner of Insulus Vinus (a wonderful winery on Pico) , who was gracious and shared all of his delicious wine. A very heartfelt “Thank You” to Sylvia and Oh My Cod!

Pico day tour
Filipe was an incredible guide for our tour around Pico. We flew over from Ponta Delgado for the day so that we could experience the relatively untouched island. We met Filipe at the marina terminal. He was very knowledgeable and great to talk to on the ride from place to place. The lunch was an authentic sample of Azorian dishes and it was delicious. Because of this experience we plan on returning to Pico to relax for a few days in the future. Highly recommend this tour.

An amazing tour with some amazing views. Make sure to wear sneakers because you explore some caves. You take a break overlooking the ocean with delicious cheese and one of the best homemade jams I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend!

Pico with Kevin was the best!
What a wonderful tour of Pico! Even though our hotel was almost an hour away from the starting point, for a little extra money, Kevin picked us up in Madalena and the fun began!When they say you can experience all four seasons in one day, we sure did! But that didn’t deter Kevin one bit. He made sure we saw everything we wanted to, and should see on the island! We even went back to a few places to make sure we saw them when the clouds cleared.The entire day was perfectly paced, enjoyable (despite having to dry out from a heavy rain) and incredibly informative. Kevin knew the island so well and was able to answer all our questions. He also has a great sense of humor and was the perfect guide for us!Lunch was delicious, and mostly homegrown. The tomatoes were quite tasty!Private tours may cost a little extra, but they are well worth it! You see so much more and get to know your guide and the local culture so much better.Thanks, Kevin for an unforgettable day!
