Absolutely fantastic tour we travelled down to York just to do this tour and so glad we did. Outstanding tour don’t know how mad Alice does to remember everyone’s names made time to talk to everyone and include everyone. I would highly recommend Mad Alice's Bloody tour of York. She know everyone's name at the start so it made it more personal and she was very knowledgeable. I did this tour with my wife and we were both glad we did this tour. We decided o the 8pm tour so we got the best experience because it was dark.

Great tour, informative and relaxing offering good insite into history of york. Very good value for money. Lots to see that you wouldnt see judt walking around. Tip- if you have a blue light card you get a great discount. Would highly recommend.

Of 20 years of ghost walks etc, this was hands down, the most captivating, interesting, funny, educational and romantic walk I've ever experienced. What started as a bit of fun, became a truly wonderful evening of story telling. Ragnell Hagathawn is charismatic, wholesome, funny (Mrs Doubtfire vibes) and just brings the energy. Absolutely so highly recommend!

Excellent tour, got to see some places we perhaps wouldn’t have gone to normally, but are now on our list of places we would go back to. The steam train to Whitby goes through some extremely scenic countryside and was in itself a good experience.. Greg was an excellent guide and the small group made it easy to have ‘one to one’ chats. Can highly recommend.

John was a wonderful guide/driver. Extremely knowledgeable, lots of history and a smattering of local tales. Comfortable coach ride, great for a solo traveler because one column of seats were all single. Driver has a microphone, so very easy to hear him no matter where you sit. Beautiful sites. My one complaint is I would have liked to get off the coach at the waterfall instead of just driving by it slowly in both directions so each side of the coach could get a picture.

The whole start to end was amazing!! I took my teenager 13 for the first time who loves history and loves the stories behind it and he had the best time ever!! I laughed all the way through and a few screams.

We had a wonderful experience on the York Hop-On Hop-Off Bus! It’s such a great way to see the city and take in all the main sights without having to worry about navigating or walking everywhere.The commentary was interesting and informative, giving us a great insight into York’s history and landmarks. Being able to hop on and off at different stops made it really easy to explore at our own pace.I also have to mention the wonderful customer service. I had booked my ticket online but, when I arrived, I couldn’t find it anywhere on my phone. The young gentleman working on the bus was incredibly helpful, patient and kind while he tried to assist me. I did eventually manage to find my ticket, but I really appreciated how helpful and understanding he was — it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.The bus was comfortable, convenient and a lovely way to see York. I’d definitely recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus to anyone visiting, especially if it’s your first time in the city. A fantastic way to see the sights, learn about York’s history and explore at your own pace.

This was a fabulous day out. Our guide was local to the area and so had lots of stories to tell us that we would never have known if we had driven the route ourselves There were some good stops, which were well-timed along the route and we were able to get food and drink along the way. It was a great way to see the filming locations for All Creatures Great and Small, which we particularly enjoyed. Another highlight was visiting the Wensleydale. Creamery, where we bought far too much cheese, but we managed to eat it all during our the holiday.

Thought this would be a good laugh, and we weren't disappointed! The tour guide was hilarious, the tour round York was fun and informative, and generally just a great time! Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for something to do one evening.

Excellent fish and chips -great that you do GF too which were so good. Lovely to cruise along the river while having a great lunch

Emma was a fabulous guide! Not only was her commentary interesting and fun, she was incredibly helpful answering questions and making sure we got off at the right stop. The buses were quite late at some locations, but Emma more than made up for the wait!

This is a great way to experience York with the ease of multi-generational families for getting around. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

We met Joshua at the pick up point near The Minster. He explained the route and options together with the different pricings. All very helpful and we decided on the 24 hour pass. The bus was comfortable and very informative on our first circuit whilst we decided where further to explore. We made full use of the ticket with another 3 trips. Thoroughly recommend.
