Cocoa Beach Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Rough start with some confusion with a change of meeting spots but glad we got to do it. Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and patient, he took his time and showed us so many things like Jellies that glowed in our hand. We were inexperienced and over weight but it didn't make a difference, we quickly learned how to maneuver the kayak. The water was like stars in the sky under the clear bottom kayak. A manatee scared us coming up out of nowhere but that just added to the experience. You must try this. It was an experience of a lifetime!

Our bioluminescent tour was absolutely incredible, and so much of that was because of our guide, Jared!The bioluminescent plankton and comb jellies were breathtaking on their own, but having Jared with us made the experience SO much more immersive and special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, kind, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. He shared so many little tips and tricks that we never would have known if we had tried to experience it on our own.One of my favorite moments was when Jared gave his net to our daughter so she could catch the comb jellies herself. It absolutely made her night, and it was such a thoughtful gesture that she’ll remember.You can tell Jared truly loves what he does and loves sharing it with people. He didn’t just guide us through the experience—he made it an adventure we’ll be talking about for a long time.I would not hesitate for a second to book this experience. I would go again in a heartbeat, and if we do, we’ll absolutely be requesting Jared! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Joanne and Drew provided great information. We saw a few dolphins and a few manatees noses but it was worth the time. Very enjoyable ride, great conversation and interaction. We will come back again. Thanks for a great trip!!

Relaxing atmosphere, captain was easy going but knowledgeable. We saw manatee and dolphin, plus a variety of birds. Boat was clean and easy to move around for viewing

Joe was a very knowledgeable Epic Bioluminescence tour guide. We caught some comb jelly (sea walnuts) with a net. We saw a lot of bioluminescent algae as we paddled in the water. We had a great time. It was well worth it. He also took pictures of us. Please wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt. You will most likely get wet, so be prepared. We were given a waterproof bag (that could float if dropped in the water) to put our phone and items in. We clipped it to our pants. Spray yourself with a lot of insect repellent! We toured at 10 pm and mosquitoes were out biting us, even though we sprayed at home and before we got into our kayaks! Thank you.

I booked the 10 pm bioluminescence kayak tour on Merritt island. They had different options available on-site of clear 2 people transparent Kayaks, also on person transparent single Kayaks. It was easy to see the company truck by the launching area on the on the Indian river lagoon. There were life vest and small lights for us to be able to see the other members of the group while paddling in the dark. We paddled to horseshoe crab island and got to see dolphins a couple of times. Overall is pretty dark so mostly you see them around. Our guide was Jordan. He was great! We could not have asked for a better guide. He gave us instructions on how to stay safe, and what to expect during the tour. He also worked hard to communicate with the group while in the water, and made sure that the group stayed together the whole time. He has the right personality for the job making our experience easy and fun. We could see the bioluminescence phenomenon what was pretty incredible. I wish we could have Good pictures of it but unfortunately they don’t turn out good. Bring bug spray ! Lots of mosquitos!

Our guide, Tyler, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the animals. We were able to see dolphins and the manatees came right up to our boards. Would 100% recommend booking this tour.

Our guide Jonathan did a great finding manatees and dolphins. He was knowledgeable of the area and continuously conversed with us about the surroundings and environment. Lots of fun kayaking through the mangrove tunnels. Also kept us safe by monitoring the weather online. Great exercise too.

We spent a great 2 hours on this trip. It was great seeing dolphins & manatees in their natural habitat. We also saw a great variety of different birds throughout the trip. Captain Andrew & his first mate were extremely knowledgeable & took great care to ensure everyone of all ages got the most of their trip. I booked for my trip about 2 weeks in advance, but when other family members decided they too wanted to come it was easy to book them on. The Captain contacted their office to resolve a slight booking mishap, my error. I honestly didn’t deliberately book my family on for the day after me. 😉 It was quickly & easily resolved thankfully. Can’t recommend this trip highly enough, it’s an enjoyable 2hour trip & the ticket price was very reasonable.

Finished our Orlando Disney park week with massages and a beautiful Sunset Cruise.Everything was right, From the calm warm evening, to the river Dolphin and beautiful sunset. Magical!

This was a relaxing evening on the water. We saw lots of dolphins and birds. Unfortunately, we didn't see any manatee, but we were definitely looking for them. Nate did a great job sharing his knowledge and creating a fun night on the water.

This was the best dolphin experience I've had. Captain Kris did a wonderful job. He was very knowledgeable and was awesome with our kids! We did get to see dolphins but no manatees. 10/10 would highly recommend

Fun and knowledgeable guides, two person kayak out into the water at night, amazing bioluminescent experience! Saw fish and woke up a manatee. So much fun, highly recommend!
