This was the most wonderful find while visiting Portugal. Katija was so wonderful in welcoming us into her home. She filled the afternoon with plenty of stories, history of the area and of course delicious meals! Everything about the experience felt extremely welcoming and would love to do it again. The selection of wines was outstanding, offering a wonderful variety of flavors and local specialties, while each food pairing complemented the wines beautifully.Our guide Joao Ramos was knowledgeable, passionate, and made the experience both educational and entertaining. I learned so much about the region’s wine-making traditions, local culture, and culinary heritage. Every stop felt unique, and the quality of the food was exceptional—fresh, authentic, and delicious.

Defne was the best host, a combination of Portuguese and Turkish hospitality.We cooked three tasty dishes and tasted original Portuguese delicacies and wines while cooking.Her apartment, cozy garden area that we ate together the stuff we cooked were very cute.And then one should not pass without mentioning the beautiful cat of the house Punto.Highly recommended.

This afternoon was an amazing, intimate, and food-driven cultural experience. We got the opportunity to make several traditional Portuguese dishes with the thoughtful guiding from Defne. We got to enjoy several hours learning about ingredients, preparation, and finally dining/pairing with wines. This is an absolute must for foodies who want hands on experience to learn more about culture and the people behind the culture. Was perfect for our small group. I am sure large groups would enjoy just as much.

Cooking with Paula is learning from your friend that has been hiding recipes from you. So much to learn from her. We never met this woman, but somehow we connected on so many different subjects and life in general. She has taught us a lot and also smarter ways to do things in the kitchen. She made cooking enjoyable. Less of a task and more of an enjoyment with the family. We brought our son with us and she was so kind that even our 9 month old bonded with her. Our favorite experience of our honeymoon trip! Patricia and Elsa made us feel so comfortable cooking the new dishes, it felt as if cooking with family. They provided great stories and details about Portuguese culture and cuisine and the wine was fantastic as well. A very welcoming and friendly experience, and sitting down to eat the food we made and converse with them was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. Could not recommend this enough!
