Absolutely incredible experience — a must-do in Portugal!This was easily one of the highlights of our trip! The whole day was packed with adventure, from kayaking and exploring the incredible caves to snorkelling and jumping into the crystal-clear water. The scenery around Arrábida was absolutely stunning, and there was something exciting to do throughout the day.The lunch was really good too — having a proper meal by the beach with such an amazing view was a fantastic part of the experience. Everything was so well organised, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into making the day special.A huge shout-out to João, who was brilliant from start to finish. His knowledge was great, but the banter and humour made the day even better. It was obvious that João genuinely loves what he does, and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having an amazing time.I honestly think everyone should do this tour! If you’re visiting Lisbon and want something more memorable than just sightseeing, book this experience. Adventure, beautiful scenery, great food and a fantastic guide — we couldn’t have asked for a better day.5 stars without a doubt!

★★★★★We had such an incredible experience with Vertente Natural, and a huge part of that was our amazing guide, Leticia!Leticia was knowledgeable, fun, energetic, and genuinely made us feel like we were spending the day with a friend rather than just taking a tour. She knew so much about the area and shared things about the history, nature, and surroundings that I never would have known otherwise.The views were absolutely amazing, and she made the experience even more memorable by taking us into a little cave. At one point, we even came across a jellyfish! Unfortunately, it was already dead, but Leticia picked it up out of the water and asked if we wanted to hold it — definitely one of those random moments you’ll remember from a trip!I would 100% do this again, and if you book with Vertente Natural, I would absolutely request Leticia as your guide. She was fantastic!I also want to mention Jessica, who picked us up. Even though it was a short ride to their shop, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable right from the start.The next time I come back, I’m definitely going for the next adventure — climbing the rocks and jumping into the water!😂One quick tip: **BRING EUROS/CASH!** There is no ATM, and there’s a little coffee shop there that only accepts cash. INCREDIBLE! João and the Beyond Adventures team made the trip seamless (they had a wide array of wetsuit sizes, towel dresses, and lunch prepared according to dietary restrictions). I loved the combination of kayaking, adventuring, and snorkeling - I never thought I’d jump off a cliff into the Atlantic but there I was with João (and the rest of the group) cheering me on! Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth every cent!

This experience was the highlight of our time in Lisbon! The tour guide, Afonso, was knowledgeable and fun, and never rushed us but instead made sure we spent as much time as we wanted at the beach. His friend, the driver, was just as wonderful with such smooth driving that we all slept on the way back--a clear deviation from the driving norm in Lisbon! Additionally, the excursion began early enough in the day that we mostly had the park to ourselves in the morning, making the experience even more magical and providing much-needed reprieve from the Lisbon crowds.

Miguel was an excellent host for an excellent day out. Created a very relaxed experience, involving and informing throughout. Went over and above in both little details like coffee and biscuits, to stopping off to taste a very specific wine for my daughter (who is a sommelier).

Best experience in Lagoa de Obidos! Two families with kids, we arranged a tour in kayak on the lagoa. It was very amazing, a real surprise! Our guide was so professional and caring, he let us see many species of birds and molluscs, crabs and clams. We had a wonderful tour as always accompanied by our guide. Highly recommended!!

Family of 5 from Ireland, had a great half day kayak tour of the lagoon with Miguel. We all had fun and enjoyed learning about the marine biology from Miguel’s expertise. It was also nice how Miguel was able to get the local fisherman to chat to us and explain how they did their work. Highly recommend it for a family day out, felt very safe at all times - even though we have very little experience with kayaks. Thanks Miguel.

We had an amazing time kayaking around the coast of sesimbra, especialy thanks to our guide, Afonso. He took great care of the group, while being entertaining and funny! Definetly ask him for food recommendations around Lisbon too :)

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Nuno and Juan were excellent guides - they were warm, friendly, entertaining and we felt completely safe during the tour with them. We even stopped to visit a cave with a tiny church inside (optional but at no extra cost). This was a very memorable experience.Do this tour! And please, tip your tour guides. They absolutely earn it.

We made a kajak-tour and dolphin watching and both activities were great. We were very well taken care of and received lots of interesting information about the area and the dolphins. It was a wonderful experience!

Andre our guide was great, gave us good tips where to go and to keep safe. The beach was clean and beautiful, the food and service great, nice relaxing day out of the city

João wasn't just an organizer! He was a very experienced friend hanging out at the sea with us. He took is to sea some caves, showed us fossils, kayaking, snorkeling and cliff jumping. Along with that, we got to try some home made wine! Totally an amazing and worth it experience.

It was a really great experience. João was a wonderful guide, very passionate and knowledgeable and I could tell he works very hard to make sure his guests have a great time. Thank you João
