The second day of our five-day private tour of Portugal will take us to Sintra, the paradise of the Portuguese Aristocracy. We will discover the charm of the narrow alleys and the shops selling typical and regional products, heading to the Periquita confectionery, with its famous “Travesseiros de Sintra” sweets and also the “Queijadas de Sintra” waiting for you.

Park and National Palace of Pena

The choice of which palace (or palaces) to visit is yours, the guide will suggest which are the best to visit among: "Quinta da Regaleira", a 19th century palace. although it has an older appearance, with an impressive decoration, rich in Masonic symbolism, the Castle of the Moors, a testimony to the Islamic presence in the region, built between the 8th and 9th centuries, and expanded after the reconquest, and because not the Pena Palace, a fantastic and vitalizing reconstruction, to prove the romanticism of the 19th century, which received the passion and imagination of the "artist" D. Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima

On the third day of our private five-day itinerary in Portugal, we will depart from Lisbon and visit Fátima, we will find three places of interest where you can attend a mass (optional), visit the Chapel of Apparitions, the first Chapel to be built immediately after the apparitions occupying a prominent place, not because of their size or grandeur, but rather because of the location, practically in the center of the Sanctuary. And also a quick visit to Casa dos Pastorinhos in Valinhos

Basilica of the Holy Trinity

The time has come to go to Coimbra, where we will begin our visit to the University of Coimbra (the oldest in Europe), with its highlights, such as the Joanina library, built in the 18th century in the university's former prison, it is simply one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, its decoration was completed only close to the 18th century and the frescoes were painted by Masters António Ribeiro and Vicente Nunes, and the portrait of Dom João V was made by the Italian Domenico Dupra.
