The Mountebank Whisky Tasting is the only whisky tasting experience led by a professional, award winning stand-up comedian (and his trusty sidekick, Scotland's best dog, Brahan). Mountebank is hysterical, historical and completely original! Your guide Daniel will demonstrate his passion for whisky and Scottish history while poking fun at you, him, Scotland and all things whisky related!

What To Expect
You will be guided through a hilarious whisky tasting experience by professional comedian Daniel Downie 'unforgettable' (Scotsman) 'exceptional' (One4Review) who will teach you all about the process and history of whisky making in Scotland while making you laugh yourself silly! This is an experience that is both 'hysterical' and 'historical'!
You'll enjoy four delicious malt whiskies from across Scotland and led through the whisky tasting process by a professional comedian and academic historian who has worked in the whisky industry.
Daniel has for the last five years operated one of the most consistently highest rated tours of Edinburgh 'The Mountebank Comedy Walk of Edinburgh' and recently completed a Masters degree in Scottish history. This show is all about whisky and Scotland, you should expect some adult humor and language as well as a very friendly dog Brahan (aka the Bonnie Prince) who will be on hand to offer advice but mostly constant affection!
