It made it all come alive. We were unfortunately cut short at the Edgar Castle because of utility breakdown. But James handled this smoothly and we were back on our way. Excellent

Fun ride in beautiful Edinburgh
Had a great time riding with friends through the many sites of Edinburgh. Meeting point was easy to find at a nice coffee shop by the bike shop. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history. Especially enjoyed the ride to Arthur's Seat, and riding on the Water of Leith pathway. The traffic is a bit confusing when you are not used to being on the opposite side of the road but our guide did a great job keeping us together and explaining exactly how we were going to cross and proceed at the busy intersections. I highly recommend this tour.

Great introduction to Edinburgh
My husband and I are frequent travelers and have had many walking tours but this was probably the best. Our afternoon with Douglas was a great introduction to Edinburgh and its history. This proud Scotsman’s knowledge was astounding and while we won’t remember everything he told us we will remember him and his enthusiasm. I highly recommend this tour as the first thing you book for your visit in Edinburgh.

This is hands down the best food tour I have ever taken in my 20+ years of world travel. Skye is so passionate and knowledgeable about everything Edinburgh that the 5–yes, 5–hours we spent with him flew by in a whir of stories, delights, and some of the best food imaginable. We have since ONLY eaten at places on his extensive rec list and have not been disappointed once! His attention to detail, secret gems, and locally owned/operated venues was/is spot on and much appreciated. This is my 3rd time in Edinburgh and I wish I had taken this tour SO much sooner! Run, don’t walk, to experience this amazing food extravaganza for yourself as soon as humanly possible! I’d even go so far as to say that Skye’s tour is in itself a good enough reason to visit Edinburgh… everything else here is just a nice bonus.

I recommend this food tour with 5 stars. Ask for Nichola! Nicohla was a wonderful tour guide, sharing with us her excellent food information while we enjoyed the tastes of local food and drinks. With our walk thru the city it also felt like a mini tour of Edinburgh combined with history of this lovely city. Nichola made the tour more enjoyable with her vibrant personality, and her wealth of knowledge. The tour was relaxed and never felt rushed.

She was a phenomenal host, supplementing what was already a great lineup of food with her knowledge and humor.We made multiple stops throughout the day and by the end we were quite full. Definitely worth the money.I thought the length of time was appropriate for all we saw and experienced.
