Overview
Join us for a 3.5-hour cultural and culinary experience. Our family’s Venetian 15th-century castle-estate just outside Chania. Walk among our olive, avocado, citrus, and other trees, take part in an olive oil tasting and learn how to make kalitsounia — the beloved Cretan cheese pies — just like we do at home.
We — Eleanna, Anna, and Eleni — will be your hosts. With its beautifully preserved 15th-century Venetian castle, is more than just a place — it’s part of our story, our everyday life.
This isn’t a commercial tour. You’re being welcomed into our land, our kitchen, our traditions. We’ll walk together through the groves, taste the olive oil we make ourselves, and cook side by side. Each of us shares a piece of our family’s recipes, memories, and love for Crete.
You won’t just watch — you’ll participate, laugh, cook, taste, and connect with the way of life we truly live every day. We don’t stage Cretan culture — we live it.

What To Expect
Step into the Soul of Crete — at Our Family’s Historic Estate
Welcome to our private Cretan estate where a 15th-century Venetian castle stands as a living monument to Crete’s rich past — not a museum, but a home filled with stories.
This isn’t a commercial tour. It’s a heartfelt invitation into our family’s land, heritage and way of life.
We welcome you as dear friends, with authentic stories and warm hospitality. We walk through groves of avocado, mango, and olive trees. Beneath our “love tree,” we taste our family’s olive oil, explore ancient myths and traditions and talk about health and healing through nature.
Then, high on the terrace with stunning views, we cook kalitsounia together — laughing, tasting and sharing recipes passed down through generations.
You’ll meet three Cretan women — Eleanna, Anna and Eleni — each offering her own voice and story. This is no performance. It’s our real life, and we’re honored to share it.
