The tour was good. The locations that were pick for photos was a good choice. The tour guides were excellent, very friendly. However the main attraction which was the sculpture garden was closed due to construction. It would have been appropriate for Cool Destinations to make us aware and let us decide if we still wanted to do the tour. In stead our payments were deducted from our accounts with our advising us of the change. I traveled from Washington DC and my sister from Ghana Africa just to experience it. We found out the morning of the tour from the tour guides who thought we knew. Cool Destinations’s failure to communicate does not take anything away from the tour or the guides. As I stated they were wonderful.

Fantastic day out. We loved swimming in the underground cenote and learning about them. The swimming with turtles was amazing. We were told we might only see 2 but we saw 5. Having a small group was good. Adrian our driver was great and Sergio, our guide/marine biologist was very informative but also amusing and made the experience. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: You can't wear suncream at Akumal bay as it is a conservation area. I am ginger & very pale and have the worst sunburn of my life on the back of my legs & bum after this. Make sure to wear shorts or something to cover up your lower half that you can swim in. Otherwise, it was a perfect day.

Wonderful experience! Driver picked us up at our hotel on time; professional, courteous, and friendly. IMHO, it's the guide that makes the tour successful or not. Our guide, Alex, was great. Not only extremely knowledgeable, but passionate about his culture and it's ecosystem. (AND ... be generous with your tips - all of your guides rely upon gratuities to make a living; plus it's seasonal work. We wouldn't have these great opportunities if it wasn't for them.)

The experience on this trip was amazing our tour guide was Ricardo and driver, Carlos. We have heard a lot about visiting Chichén Itza. It’s one of the 7 wonders of the world. I definitely don’t think you should do it on your own, and you definitely need to be with the right tour guide. Ricardo is very friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He went over the history of the Mayas and the ruins and explained it a way that felt like you were there. His English is great also. By the end of the trip it felt bittersweet because it felt like we really made a connection and now we had to go. I would 110% recommend booking with Cancun Adventures and requesting for Ricardo and Carlos as your guides.

Our day at Sian Ka’an was exceptional from beginning to end and easily one of the most memorable experiences of our entire holiday.What makes it even more special is that this is an authentic, locally driven experience, powered by the community. You are not just visiting an incredible natural environment – you are supporting the people who live there, protect it and understand it better than anyone.Emiliano, our guide, was absolutely inspiring. His knowledge of the wildlife, the ecosystem and the importance of sustainability brought the whole area to life. His passion was infectious, and you came away feeling that you had genuinely learned something about this extraordinary place rather than simply passing through it as a tourist.Juan, our boat captain, was superb. His ability to spot wildlife was incredible, and thanks to him we saw some unforgettable sights – including the magical moment of seeing a manatee with her tiny baby. It was one of those moments you know you will remember for the rest of your life.Jorge, our minibus driver, was also fantastic and helped make the whole day relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable.The authentic local lunch was excellent too and fitted perfectly with the whole experience – genuine, welcoming and rooted in the local community.This is exactly the kind of tourism we should all be supporting: local people, local knowledge, conservation, sustainability and an unforgettable experience that directly benefits the community.Forget the generic tourist excursions. I went on a sunset kayak trip in July and it was magnificent. The lagoon was exceptionally peaceful, the birdlife fascinating, and the sunset amazing - as the sun dipped toward the horizon, the rippling water reflected streaks of orange and crimson which was truly magical. Booking the trip was efficient, Antonio was helpful and responded promptly, and he went above and beyond to ensure I could get home safely. Absolutely recommend this trip!

We loved the experience of immersing ourself quietly by kayaking into the nature of the lagoon. Antonio is a great, knowledgeable guide and witnessing these large birds like Pelikans on these little islands and flying above us was a remarkable experience. Finally we even got to see a crocodile at the end of the tour very close underneath our kayak. Amazing!

Thanks to Yosua, we enjoyed the best excursion to snorkel with turtles and fish, followed by a beautiful cenote and ending the day with a lovely lunch at Juanita restaurant. Yosua was so kind, knowledgeable and made the whole experience that much better So glad we got to do all 3 activities and spend a decent amount of time at each! Absolutely recommend.
