Tulum 2026 Calendar of Events

We had an incredible day exploring **Chichen Itza, a beautiful cenote, and Valladolid** with SAT Mexico Tours. Everything was well organized, and the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.A special shoutout to our guide **Hugo**, who was absolutely wonderful! He was very sweet, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job explaining the history and significance of each place. I especially appreciated that he gave us plenty of time to explore on our own, take pictures, and enjoy each location at our own pace without feeling rushed.The tour also included a **free lunch buffet**, which was a great bonus and had a nice variety of food.Overall, this was an excellent way to experience some of the highlights of the Yucatán. **Highly recommend SAT Mexico Tours, and especially Hugo, for making the day so memorable!** 🌴☀️📸

The experience was very nice and surprisingly more than we expected. Me and my family learned a lot about Mayan history while exploring ruins in Tulum. Taking a swim in the underground caves was very refreshing. The environment and people around were really the best. It was a nice time to spend with family and even getting to meet new people (especially our friend Kevin). Staff was really the best and the tour couldn’t be better.

Amazing, Cesar was the best. Our driver Eduardo did amazing as well.

Brilliant - very knowledgeable & funny guide who made it interesting & entertaining

We had a great day trip to Tulum. The small 14 passenger van picked us up on time. The trip to Tulum including a few more hotel pick ups took about two hours. There was a midway stop at Adventures Cancun office where we could use the bathroom. The van had a cooler with water and snacks for us. We also picked up our tour guide Myriam there who was lovely. She was very informative on our tour of Tulum and was happy to answer any question the tour of Tulum took about one hour. I would highly recommend borrowing or bringing an umbrella. Single use plastic water bottles are not allowed in Tulum so bring a reusable, refillable bottle or you can buy one at the market there. It was very very very hot which was expected. We had some free time after the tour, which was nice. There are many shops, including coffee, ice cream, café, and a Subway right at the entrance of Tulum. Everyone wants to sell you something which is to be expected, but everyone is very nice and respectful. When we loaded back on the van they had cold bottles of water and a cold towel waiting for each of us, which was so thoughtful! We dropped Myriam off back at the office and everyone was dropped off at their respective hotels. We left at 7 AM and got back at 2 PM. Highly recommend this excursion!

The experience on this trip was amazing our tour guide was Ricardo and driver, Carlos. We have heard a lot about visiting Chichén Itza. It’s one of the 7 wonders of the world. I definitely don’t think you should do it on your own, and you definitely need to be with the right tour guide. Ricardo is very friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He went over the history of the Mayas and the ruins and explained it a way that felt like you were there. His English is great also. By the end of the trip it felt bittersweet because it felt like we really made a connection and now we had to go. I would 110% recommend booking with Cancun Adventures and requesting for Ricardo and Carlos as your guides.

An incredible tour. My 8-year-old daughter had a great time and enjoyed seeing turtles and swimming in the closed cenote very much. The guide Cesar was magnificent. Very nice and kind. He explained the Tulum ruins to us and we learned a lot. I would book with Ocean Tur again and especially with Cesar. A fantastic guide and an even better person. I highly recommend it.

We loved the entire dinner experience! Jair and his team were so sweet, Left the kitchen spotless, and it was some of our favorite food of the entire trip. Thank you guys again!

We enjoyed the variety of activities. We especially enjoyed the ATV and the cenote. Our tour guide was great!

We had such an amazing time with our tour guide, Ana! She was so knowledgeable of both the history and present-day conditions, and what Mayans believe and why. It was so much fun too!

So peaceful exploring the jungle freely!! There’s a slice you can climb up and soak at the top for great pictures also. It’s fun to walk around on your own and soooo many photo opportunities. Very clean as well.

Hugo was a great tour guide! He had just the right touch of explaining history, sharing culture and allowing us time to explore on our own.He had some funny jokes and was very friendly! Though I forget his name, the driver did a great job getting us everywhere safely.10/10 recommend

Wow! What a memorable day and unforgettable adventure!Everything went very smoothly. In hindsight I'd recommend they give updates right when you board that the agenda and snacks won't start until everyone's on the bus which took nearly an hour. I just thought we were going to be sitting in silence for 4 hours. Once we were done picking folks up, guide Delfin passed out snacks which were great. An apple, juice, a ham and cheese sandwich and a granola bar. He then went over the agenda for the day. I did not remember how many cool things were included!!There is thankfully a bathroom on board. Just know the TP is behind the toilet seat so easy to miss. That could be designed better. Watch your head entering the bathroom! I hit mine scooting in. Otherwise the bus and ride were very comfortable and AC was great! Some folks were a bit chilly so maybe bring a small blanket or a hoodie to cover up with.The salt lake was unbelievable. Unreal once inside. From the outside and certain angles it was hard to see pink but then you walk a few steps and truly breathtaking! And the photos! I so appreciate the tour guide's help with that inside! She was great!The crocodile cruise was cool. We saw 2 crocodiles in the water which was neat though I did feel a bit bad that we were disturbing their peace when boats surrounded them. We only saw a few flamingos and the boat ride was a bit longer than expected. Several of us were getting very hungry so that part could have been a bit shorter. The stop off the boat to get in the water and try the mud bath was so cool! I have a skincare business and loved how the mask felt.The lunch was excellent as well. You have options to choose between chicken, fish and a seafood salad similar to a ceviche. Everything looked great. The seafood salad was wonderful, portions were very generous and the staff were great. It would have been awesome to have a combo option offered because everything sounded great. Drinks are extra so I would have appreciated even a lemonade option included. One thought several of us had is that the town we stopped in for the mud baths off the boat was so cute that it would have been really lovely if lunch were arranged there so we could eat with the beautiful turquoise blue views.Next to seeing the actual pink Lakes my favorite part of the day was the final stop at the crocodile farm and getting to see the baby crocodiles hatch. That was unbelievable! One of the coolest things I've ever seen! And I loved that they were encouraging of people taking photos and videos throughout the day. Really an exceptional experience all around. My only suggestion would be to add a little element of fun to the bus ride, a few stories about the area and perhaps some music. People mostly kept to themselves, there was no music or entertainment or storytelling on the ride which made 4 hours feel very long. I would also love if they would incorporate even one midway stop at some sort of a convenience store for people to stretch their legs and buy snacks or drinks. Thankfully there were a few other singles on the trip and we made friends which was great. I definitely recommend this tour hands down, just make sure you have music or something to entertain yourself.By the way we did great at avoiding mosquitoes all day until the crocodile farm. Thankfully Delfin was kind enough to smack them off of me but I do recommend the spray because they were pretty obnoxious there. It was still well worth it because the whole experience was just so memorable! This definitely makes it to the top two most beautiful places I've ever visited. I might even say the top if it weren't so crowded. Just letting in so many big groups at a time distracted from getting to really enjoy the serenity of it all and I would have loved some private time just to sit, look out over the water and journal or think. You get about 30 minutes inside the Pink Lake with the group and I definitely did not want to miss out on any of the wonderful photo opps. You literally walk two feet over and the view is completely different. It's like magic on Earth!
