Tulum Dream Travel Planners were our concierge / guide through our Airbnb and they saved our beach vacation with a ton of great local spots off beach since it's currently covered in seaweed. They had great communication, booked reservations for us ensuring we had awesome places to enjoy the sun 3 days of our vacation. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

The map doesn't share align with action tours. But oh well I like the freedom of doing it at my own pace. You don't get much detailed info like a human guide would provide you but mayan ruins is full of speculations and imaginations and less on concrete archeological findings. So knowing just brief description was enough for us. However I would recommend doing at least one ruins (I recommend Uxmal Puuc Route one) with human guide and use audio tour guide for the rest of them.

Hello, I advise you to go directly to the beach, no need to pay a provider, if you arrive from the direction of Playa del Carmen ask the bus driver: stink stop Akumal, climb the bridge steps , more careful to cross the road. Then take the 1st road on your left, go to the end of this road, without stopping at the service providers, after paying access, contact the &der provider, wooden cabin, on the beach. Ask Miguel, he's very nice, and if you're not good at swimming he'll pull you off with his buoy. Oh, great. ESPECIALLY IMPERATIVE YOU HAVE TO BE THERE AT THE OPENING AT 8 O'CLOCK, there is hardly anyone in the water, which is easier to see turtles that are free.

Good app and easy to download. We found it best to download when we had wifi and then log out of it (even switch off the phone to remove the blue quick open button top left) so that it didn’t use up all our battery power. Best to take a separate power bank in case your phone runs low. Sometimes the section didn’t play, probably more to do with us not being in the right spot, but easy enough to just click on the list and tap it manually. Really liked the voice of the narrator and the helpful photos.

I really liked that the governor of Tulum himself will tell us the story he lived in the past.The temple of the frescoes, despite its age, is more than preserved and in addition to the activities to find the Gods they worshiped.In 1518 they were subjected to the empire of the Spanish and all by order of the governor for them to abandon Tulum, thank God he was healthy and telling us about that wonderful life experience.

They provided top concierge services by offering a multitude of suggestions, providing local insight, discussing pricing options, a booking reservations, and proving logistical details. Victoria and Pili went above and beyond to help us when we experienced a travel hiccup. Their communication and follow up was so appreciated. We booked a private snorkel tour, a cenote tour, and a beach club through them. All three were so fun!! We would recommend them to anyone staying in Tulum!

I'd recommend this for those who don't want to feel rushed
This is an excellent option as you can go at your own pace. Since it tracks your location, the narration keeps quiet and lets you go off-route and stay as long as you want at different spots. It starts with the narration when you return to the route. People who went with guides felt rushed through the tour because the human guide wanted to be done and get back to the start to meet other groups.
