Top Sintra Multi-day Tours

We were on a 3-day round trip from Lisbon to Porto in early September of 2026 and we had a great time. Marta is an excellent and pleasant tour guide with a lot of experience. She gave us good advice and suggestions for restaurants and points of interest. She’s very reliable and flexible on travel itineraries also. We definitely will recommend her and the company to our friends and family.

The Algarve was a beautiful surprise. The coastline, cliffs, and beaches were amazing, and the two-day format gave us enough time to enjoy everything without rushing.

Honestly beat taking the train hands down. Driver was right at our hotel door at 8 AM sharp, car was fresh and ice-cold AC (much needed in July heat!). The drive up to Douro is a bit long, but the views once you hit the river make you forget all about it. Porto drop-off was super smooth too.

Without a doubt, one of the best tours I've ever booked. The Algarve's coastline is spectacular, and having a private guide made the experience unforgettable.

We found our three day tour with Francisco amazing. He was an excellent driver, always organized but thoughtful of our preferences to adjust the tour to our wishes. He showed us so many interesting sights that we would not have had the opportunity and he was very knowledgeable about history and interesting stories related to places we visited. Margarida was one of the best tour guides our group experienced on our trip to Portugal. She was able to give great service with 6 ladies on holiday . Two of which had issues walking. She adjusted the tours to better supply the tour we requested to accommodate their needs. Truly the most amazing trip we had due to Margarida! Muy Obrigadas!!❤️❤️❤️😘

A fantastic two days in Algarve and Sintra from Lisbon. Although the Algarve day trip is a long day - it was fabulous to see the various sites especially the formations of the Benagil caves. Sintra is just something else from a magical kingdom. Jorge our guide from Fantastic Ride was pre-prepared and made the suggestion to change the days around to suit the weather - which was great as doing the Algarve in wet weather would have defeated the purpose. On the Sintra day, once again Jorge recommended we move the itinerary around so that outdoor things were done whilst the skies held up. Being vegetarians, Jorge went out of his way to find us places to eat that would suit us - and wow did he find these little gems of places for us! We carried on to do a 3rd day of Lisbon tour and this too was well managed by Jorge.

This was our first trip to Portugal and I reached out to our hotel Corpo Santo Lisbon for recommendation of a private tour company. Luckily for us they recommended FantasticRide. The online booking process was seamless and their website easy to navigate with a myriad of tour options, we opted for 2 half day tours , Sintra and Lisbon respectively. Our first day was supposed to be Sintra but our guide Filipe thoughtfully suggested flipping to Lisbon as the weather was cloudy and he didn’t want the weather to detract from our experience. Lisbon is a beautiful city and Filipe was the perfect guide. His knowledge as expected was extensive but it was the personal anecdotes and tidbits at each highlight that made the tour. We never felt rushed and Filipe made sure we even had time for coffee and the heavenly Pasteis de Belem after visiting Jeronimos Monastery - do not miss the opportunity! Sintra the next day was again amazing - Sintra, Peña Palace and surrounds are like stepping back in time and Filipe again regaled us with all the history we could ask for - again what you expect from a guide but it was more like traveling with an old friend. So much so that we asked him to do our transfer from Lisbon to Porto rather than taking the train . He is simply the best! If you are traveling to Portugal, look no further , book Fantastic Ride and ask for Filipe!!!

Loved that we weren't rushed at all. We could stop for coffee whenever we wanted, and the guide took us to a really nice, quiet winery in Douro. Very comfortable car and smooth driving. Would definitely recommend!

Our guide Marta was the best. It was great to be introduced to this beautiful country with a guide who could handle the basics, plus anything else that came up. Marta was friendly and fun — we were good friends by the end of the 3 days. Highly recommended!

Our guide Rui was a perfect balance of being punctual and informative and yet giving our group space to enjoy our time together. Planned many great options, but also allowed for change when needed (such as adding 2 passengers last minute!) His driving was also the best I experienced from a guide or driver. I would use his service again and highly recommend to anyone!

Filipe was a very professional guide who had a very good knowledge of Portuguese History and was very proud of his beautiful city. We gave him a list of places we wanted to see - Fatima, Cascais, Nazare, Sintra, Obidos, and Lisbon. And at the same time, he gave us recommendations on places we have to visit only a local would know. He spoke excellent English and created a very friendly atmosphere. He was our tour guide and friend for 3 days and built a balanced visit with just the perfect mix of walking and sightseeing in the very comfortable car. Always ready to answer questions and makes you feel welcome in his country. He is also very informative in other educational subjects and keeps himself educated about world affairs. He is very patient, accommodating, and very helpful. He will make you feel as if you are in your home. Portugal's trip was fruitful and memorable because of him. We would highly recommend his services to anyone.
