We had an amazing time on our 2-day tour with our guide Taylah. She was extremely knowledgeable and always excited to share interesting information about the island. Furthermore, her driving skills on the bumpy roads through the sand were impressive. The itinerary was fun and well planned and we always had enough time for each sight. Food was tasty and vegetarian options were available as well.

This trip is the perfect day trip alternative to the 3D2N option as you get to see all the islands highlights like the shipwreck, Lake Mckenzie, Eli Creek and the Dingoes! Pirate Pete was a fantastic guide, super knowledgeable and a great driver. I was lucky as a solo traveller to sit up front and have a windshield and window view. The ride was bumpy to say the least and at times quite violent. Shame not to be on the 4X4 cars as I feel they would’ve offered a marginally softer ride and a more personable feel, but I appreciate the conditions are difficult to navigate.

Fabulous day and wonderful guide
I am not typically a bus tour person but I had a wonderful day on K’Gari thanks in large part to our guide Paul. I learned so much about the Island’s history, flora, fauna and environment. He made the island come to life. It is a whirlwind day but ticked the must see places for anyone who may not be back in this part of the world again. Thank you Paul and also thank you too to Peter who was assisting today. I really enjoyed my experience on K’Gari.

Informative, fun, relaxed tour
Daniel is an incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and fun guide, dispersing stories, jokes and facts along the drive. I was most impressed by his wide range of knowledge about the ecosystem, sailing, and even trigonometry! He has the gift of being a great science communicator.He kept us on time at each stop without making us feel rushed and most importantly kept our safety a top priority.Total walking time was fairly minimal and generally level. Some steps were involved along the trails.The only thing I would have liked to change about the tour is more time at Cape Tribulation to wander around and take in the vastness of the setting. That being said, there’s a lot to see and do along the tour and factors like the weather and traffic conditions can influence the available time at a given spot.Overall the tour was very memorable, informative and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

What a fantastic tour! Steve was our driver for the day but also an Historian, botanist as well as a funny and knowledgeable storyteller. He gave us an insight into the Queensland culture, History, flora and fauna. First, we learnt that Queensland was a land of gold before becoming the land of sugar cane as we drove along the fields to the town of Mossman. Mossman had once a booming industry of sugar cane and Steve explained us the hard work of harvesting and extracting the juice with machetes before the machinery arrived. Time to have a well deserved morning break at Mossman Gorge Visitor Center and to enjoy tea/coffee with delicious scones. Then the shuttle brings you to the rainforest and the magical part is the walk to Mossman Gorge.There is the option of swimming. Steve told us about plants, trees and shows us the giant basket ferns.He told us about this Aboriginal place as Aboriginal are the custodians of the forest and its creatures. Flying foxes, tree kangaroos and cassowaries are the creatures of this forest. The Daintree rainforest is the oldest one on earth and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Time to taste a delicious piece of kangaroo or Barramundi at Daintree Teahouse and to learn about tropical fruit as Richard, the owner of the restaurant ,is passionate about fruit. The Daintree river cruise is about birds and crocodiles. If you are lucky, you will see Scarface, the king of the river with one tooth left. You will learn about their anatomy and hunting technique. The Cape Tribulation is an other magical moment where the forest meets the sea.It has been named by Captain Cook.Guess why. And why not tasting a delicious ice cream made by an incredible lady ,with natural ingredients at Daintree ice cream company? Still time to enjoy the views at Alexandra lookout and to stop at Port Douglas in front of the Bay. This a very long 12 hour trip but with a lot of stops and the small number of 14 passengers makes the trip enjoyable. Premium tour, yes without any doubt and it 's worth every dollar. Thank you Steve for making us love Queensland.

Excellent shuttle service by a female driver Quick and informative safety information A bit bumpy due to the winds but this just added spice to the experience Good information from the pilot Everybody got a window seat The pilot turned around so everybody got a super view over Whitehaven and the Heart Reef I highly recommend this experience It’s not cheap but it’s worth every cent I’m considering doing it again!

Beautiful sunset on a boat, great food (everything was delicious & my partner being gluten-free had a lot to choose from), great entertainment (live music from Phoebe Jacobs), great atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff, and an awesome environment (got to go all around the boat & get great views).
