Top Oaxaca Day Cruises

We had a great day! Mani arranged a 34 ft boat for my wife and me. He, the captain, and the mate looked after everything. We toured the bays, caught some fish, followed turtle tracks to their nests, swam in calm waters with no one else around, and had a great lunch on the beach.

It was an awesome experience. Our captain and tour guide were so great. Alex was especially caring and informative.

Great overview of the major bays and beaches ofHuatulco. First stop was an amazing snorkeling opportunity and second stop was at a wonderful palapa restaurant on the beach. Very relaxing and opportunity for activity if you do the snorkeling.

The catamaran was fun!! The snorkeling was also fun to do! Bahia San Agustin was beautiful and the food was amazing!!

Crew was amazing and so friendly. Super helpful, very down to earth. Made us feel safe while snorkeling in the open water/ocean. That was intense.

Great atmosphere. Plenty of water to fo around. The first level had snacks for sale such (Popsicles, fruit). Worth it.

We really enjoyed this boat trip, it was nicely timed and took us to two different beautiful beaches where there were great snorkeling spots but also just clear water and very nice vibes. The boat was well equipped, the staff offered free soft drinks regularly and there were options to purchase beers and cocktails on board too. We got to see some humpback whales during the trip which was magical. There was an English speaking guide on the boat and everything seems well organised including our hotel pickup. Probably one of the best boat trips we have been on (and we have been on a fair few!)

We did the bay tour on seados , snorkeled, watch Dolphins and Whales. It was an awesome day stopped inSan Augustine and had a fantastic sheimp lunch

we chose the five bay cruise and snorkeled in two bays. There are some bays that are high traffic with restaurants and shops and crowded with people, we skipped those and opted for the less trafficked bays. the scenery is different in each bay, along with colorful fish and a cute puffer fish out guide Martilino pulled up and demonstrated his blowing water out of his tiny mouth and gills. We also held an urchin and felt it moving. Snorkeling and seeing the bays was a highlight for our trip to Huatulco

We mostly had a very good experience on this tour. I booked it with a friend, and it was a real luxury to have the whole boat, plus TWO crew members (a captain and a snorkel guide), just for us. The five bays that we visited were all beautiful, and on the way to the first bay the captain got a call that a whale was nearby, so we got to see a whale as well -- a wonderful experience! Also, the guide and captain were both very good.However, there were two elements that were not really expecting. The first was the fact that we only snorkeled in two of the 5 bays, and we were told that normally there is only ONE snorkeling stop, but because the water was cloudy from a recent rain, we went to a second stop. I would have been quite disappointed to pay this kind of money for only one snorkel stop.The second was the fact that at the last stop they took us to an expensive seafood restaurant. We were not interested in eating there, so we each just had a Coke and and then said we were ready to go. As a result, our tour ended about 45 minutes early, presumably because they assume you will spend that time eating at the restaurant.So, if you want a private boat cruise with a little bit of snorkeling and a restaurant stop, this is for you! If you just want to snorkel, I'd book something else.

I definitely recommend this tour! I’ve been twice now and both times was amazing. A must do in Huatulco. The only reason I docked a star is because there are a tonne of extra costs (which they are transparent about) but it adds up so it’s about quadruple the price you see on Cool Destinations. The only options for food and drinks are the highest prices you’ll find in Huatulco, more expensive than the high end restaurants here. Entrees at the beach side restaurant in Maguey Bay are $500+ pesos plus appetizers around $300-$350 pesos, drinks are minimum $150 for a cocktail. Also the guy collecting the money for the beach chairs (which are $250 pesos) tried to tip us off too. I’ve never had folks from Huatulco try to rip me off except on this trip. But otherwise really incredible experience, worth paying a higher price for food. Bring cash for the beach/snorkeling part, the restaurant at Maguay takes card and includes a tip in the price already. I recommend rash guard for anyone who burns easily, you’re in the sun A LOT on this trip at peak UV times! Get the seafood stuffed pineapple dish! It’s what they’re known for!

Great tour. Stopped at one bay for snorkelling, swimming, relaxing on the beach or just staying on the boat. Then on to St Augustine. The staff looked after young and elderly when getting off the boat into the panga and into the beach and back to the boat. Great excursion

On weekends there are too many people, it is more comfortable to travel during the week, you have to arrive no later than 10:00 to get a good place even when the catamaran leaves at 10:45
