Top Madeira Shark Diving

Great first introduction to diving. This experience has given my trip to Madeira another dimension. The instructor is funny and sympathetic and gives a clear, professional explanation of diving. Thanks again for the fantastic experience!

super nice instructor who gave us a lot of information about the aquarium, the animals and diving. going into the water costs some overcoming (it has 16 or 17°C) but is definitely worth it!

It's hard to put into words what a fantastic experience this is ! Full instructions given to us - first time Scuba divers. First 2 minutes are a strange sensation - getting your brain to understand that you can breathe underwater, and not have to go back up. But after that - WOW ! There are 2 x 4 foot long sharks. A 5 foot Grouper ( I think 🤔who sits on the bottom and allows you to stroke her ) and a 3 foot long Conger eel that also allows stroking and feels like velvet ! Then you swim along with shoals of other smaller fish - up and down in a huge aquarium 18 feet deep. Did I mention the big Ray ? That's quite a sight to swim near too also. I'd thoroughly recommend this activity. Are you a first time Scuba diver ? So were we. Now we aren't 1st timers and we will Scuba dive again in the future. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 without a doubt !

What an amazing experience! Our 16y son went on his own with Abilio. Abilio was very patient and gave great explanation. Took us behind the scenes of the aquarium seeying that the tide was to high and the water to rough for the tidepools. Worth every cent! Must do for people jusg getting into diving.

A unique and memorable experience even for an experienced diver. Me and my daughter (who has no experience of diving) was extremely well taken care of and the instructor was very professional, kind and provided a strong sense of security. This was important to me as I wanted to give my daughter a soft and secure introduction to diving. I would highly recommend this experience.

First I dived on natural pools on where I saw a lot of fishes. It was a great moment. Next, we went to the aquarium and there I were a bit anxious on diving on the middle of all fishes ... but finally it was a fantastic moment. Abilio, from Lava Diving Center, were always take care. Many thanks for this experience and I recommend this activity with him.

My mum and I had such a great time diving with our instructor. My mum was a little nervous and he could not have been more kind. It was really great to see the aquarium up close and personal and see all the amazing fish they have there. He made the experience fun and safe even though we were completely inexperienced divers. It's really worth doing - where else in the world can you do this?

Loved every minute of it! I'm not a good swimmer (you don't have to be) but the instructor was really patient and made us feel comfortable. The training at the beginning was very clear. You get to go into the natural pools as well as the aquarium tank. Very happy with the experience!

It was an incredible experience for my 12-year-old daughter. The diver-guide was very professional. If you visit Madeira with your teens, aquarium diving should be on your list!

It was just a perfect experience, and this is also a good idea for anyone who has a little interest in diving. My girlfriend and I have never been diving. Abilio did a really great job and was able to respond to us individually, even if we had a lot of respect [fear ;-) ] for it. Thanks for the great experience.

The guide is attentive and educational. He takes care of all the participants. He knows the underwater life well and explains it well. It was a very nice experience.

We were with my husband and it was my diving christening. That was really great. The instructor was at the top, explains very well and reassures lol. Even though I was a little scared I admit but it's up to me, I'd be ready to start again. I recommend this experience.
