This was a lovely trip. We booked it only because our other fullday trip was cancelled and this company was the only one that still went ahead with a longer trip that day. But this was probablymuch nicer than the first trip planned. The people were very nice and welcoming. We were a smaller group and the trip went ahead as planned including a lovely home cooked lunch. The bonus was that eventhough the boat was not as pretty as we had been looking for in the first place, the dolphins loved it! 8 of them swam in front of it and even when we left after 10 minutes, 2 dolphins followed us at full speed. This was a unique experience for us and also we were glad that the correct code of conduct with dolphins was kept. Also the snorkeling was nice. It was at a spot without much other tourist boats and more peaceful therefor. Lunch was great and included a yummy pudding and coffee. The only down side was that we returned 50 minutes before time. We had left 10 minutes earlier in the morning, but this was not really nice. We have noticed that on other trips too with other companies, like its a tourist trip they do everyday and as soon as the 'highlights' are all done, the aim is to get back quicker and get off early. It feels a bit of a shame on what otherwise was a lovely trip. Hence not full 5 stars.

We spent a long time deliberating whether to pay the additional cost of a private tour, and without question we made the right choice for us as a family, with children who don't like big crowds. It was an absolute joy to sit as a family of 4 on the deck of the Miranda and our children, aged 11 and 13, were enthralled as the waves gently splashed us. We were well taken care of by the crew, and having access to a toilet took any stress away from the journey. We were really lucky and saw a pod of dolphins close up, but honestly it would have been a fabulous ocean experience even without that. The crew also took us to an area with crystal clear water to snorkel. We loved the email we were sent afterwards that summarised what we had seen...it was a fab souvenir. We were also sent an amazing file of photos of the trip.

We got to see dolphins and whales. The trip was amazing. The crew were lovely and helpful, and the ride lasted 3 hours, without feeling rushed - we took the morning trip, and the sea was calm. We absolutely recommend it

What a great experience! We were lucky to see a very large group of dolphins. There are about 30 people on this catamaran. Enough space for everyone. Better than those other unloaded boats I have seen.

A very beautiful morning spent in the company of Eva and Martin, who knew how to take great care of us. We were lucky enough to come across dolphins and a shark. We left with stars in our eyes and beautiful photos. Thanks to them and to On Tales for this wonderful experience.

Wonderful experience. An absolutely beautiful day out on the water you get to enjoy the nature in the ocean and amazing scenery of Island. Lunch and drinks are provided, which make it a great experience.

An easy pick up from our hotel. We saw lots of marine life (flying fish, dolphins and a bride's whale) and there were plenty of opportunities for photos. The swim stop was also good but the snorkels provided weren't the greatest. If you are fussy you would be better to take your own snorkel. Lunch was fantastic - a choice of pork, tuna or chicken with potatoes, salad, rice and bread. Mousse for dessert with an excellent coffee afterwards. Drinks available throughout the cruise - wine, beer, water and soft drinks. The crew were all helpful and attentive.

We had a wonderful experience on the boat trip! The crew were young, friendly and incredibly kind, and they made us feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning.The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and everything was handled with care and professionalism. They were attentive throughout the trip and genuinely wanted us to have a great time.A beautiful way to enjoy Madeira from the sea, made even better by such a lovely crew. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the experience! ❤️

Great crew, we spotted a lot of dolphins with there baby's which was amazing to see . If we ever woud do this again, it would be with the same compagnie. Thank you very much.

This was really good fun, the boat was clean and the guides were clear and fair with everyone. We were really lucky and saw loads of dolphins, even baby ones, and the weather was perfect, still waters and slight cloud so not too hot- so that does bias my review! I would say this company was really good and would use again.

ATTENTION It is the 1st time since we have been taking sea trips in Funchal that we have been forced to take off our shoes on the dock before boarding. All the shoes are stored in a large closed box, in direct sunlight, on the dock. Given the very high heat in the container, the glue on some sandals (including mine) did not hold up.

This was an amazing experience. The staff were phenomenal. The views and dolphins capped off a wonderful experience.

The catamaran was broken, replaced by a wooden sailing ship, more suitable for seasickness.... Otherwise great, saw about 10 dolphins...

Good experience, the crew was very good despite not spotting any dolphins or whales.
