This was a really great way to see the coastline and learn about some of the history that happened on the coast. We stopped at a fort that also was where science and navigation led to great discoveries. We also stopped for a terrific lunch while on the journey. Our guide was excellent. He told us about the areas we went but also gave us enough time to experience the beauty on our own. A+ trip.

Absolute perfection! Best boat day ever!
Our private cruise with Captain Max was the highlight of our family trip to Portugal! Max went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and having the best time. The moment we boarded, we were treated like royalty. Max had put together a huge picnic basket packed with snacks and treats straight from the market, fresh fruit, and a cooler stocked with plenty of water, soda, and wine. Seeing the Algarve coast from the water is breathtaking, and Max’s passion for the area made it even better—we learned so much about the coastline while taking in the stunning views. Max dropped us off at his favorite spot in the fishing village of Alvor for lunch, where we had incredibly fresh seafood. If you are looking for an adventurous, seamless, and premium boat tour in the Algarve, do not look anywhere else. Thank you, Captain Max, for giving our family a perfect day we will always remember!

We had such an amazing time with Captain Max on his boat for the day. He was an engaging, charismatic, knowledgeable, and fun tour guide. He catered the day to our liking, made us feel super safe, and gave us a day to remember for a long, long time. He gave us a great lunch recommendation and we enjoyed our lunch stop in the fishing village. We are so grateful for Max’s hospitality. Hope to join him for a day on the boat again in the future!

What a great experience! Kayaking felt like you could really see everything up close. Guides were fantastic and everything was explained well. They had a boat bring you back so you don’t need to kayak back as the journey is about 1-1.5 hours long. Highly highly recommend this tour :)

We’ve been on lots of free walking tours over many years and this was the best one yet. Very knowledgeable and very entertaining, we enjoyed it so much that we signed up for the wine tasting tour a couple of days later which was just fantastic. Thanks Brodie for making our visit to Lagos a spectacular and very memorable trip, just a shame we missed the pub quiz. We loved this tour! Very relaxing ride on the sailboat while seeing beautiful rock formations. They provided a nice tapas platter and great music. Transferred to a small boat to see the caves up close. The staff were very nice and fun. Highly recommend this tour!!

Amazing experience- one of the highlights of our trip to Lagos and the Algarve! I was concerned with the wind, which seemed to kick up on our travel day, however, was pleasantly surprised when we stepped upon our Happy Times boat. The Captain Valentin maneuvered amazingly through the tightest cracks and coves that one can imagine and yet like an expert car driver! We were entertained throughout and provided interesting information on the several rock, formations caves, and grottos that we experienced with a running dialogue both in English in Portuguese by Bruno out friendly guide - we highly recommend!

Great Algarve Sunset Adventure
This was an unbelievable adventure - simply the best trip leaving you with fantastic pictures and memories. Sandro was a great guide and driver. Very knowledgeable and kept us fully informed as we went from place to place. Nothing was too much trouble. The wine and pastries watching an amazing sunset was a great end. Cannot recommend this enough and Sara also deserves a mention for the organisation - wonderful adventure.

Boat taxi from Alvor to Lagos a MUST!
We booked with the lovely Shelley for the boat taxi from Alvor to Lagos on Tuesday 15th September for the 0930 trip, it was €35 per person for a return, and we paid an extra €5 each to see the caves on the way back. The boat was old and didnt look like much in comparrisson to the other vessels we saw doing the same trip, but we very quickly realised that we would be having the best time. We were allowed to freely roam the boat amd sit on the bean bags at the front, the sailing was smooth and the guys were awesome, funny and informative. Both there and back was smooth and the sea air was very welcomed after spending hours in Lagos at 38°C. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a smooth sail across the sea, a knowledgeable and funny guide, and a comfortable crossing.

A fantastic boat trip to Lagos! A beautiful route along the cliffs, and the skipper enthusiastically shares interesting stories about the area with plenty of humor. The old supply boat sits incredibly steady in the water, so you hardly notice the waves and don’t get seasick easily. Highly recommended!
