Top Isla Verde City Tours

This is a great place to see both the nature and the city life of Puerto Rico! The tour is very flexible, informative, and friendly! Angel and Annie are the best! It’s like having an local friend tour you around!

Gloricel was a great guide!! I would highly recommend her for an Old Town tour. Doug

Amazing tour, customized for family and pick up location, very knowledgeable guides. Got to see everything on our list. Young kids were entertained too and the pace and time at each stop was perfect. Highly recommend!

My family and I went on this private tour with Javier recently. I myself had been to Old San Juan as a child. However, this was my husband and sons first visit. Javier personally reached out to us prior to the tour, and when he did, I made sure to let him know my son was a young child (age 6), and my husband, who is a natural redhead with very fair skin, was extra heat sensitive since it was during the month of July. Javier replied back that he was happy to accommodate and adjust to our specific needs.During the tour, which lasted 4 hours total, he took us to walk around and personally guided us through the San Cristobal Fort, and the Old San Juan Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista. While driving throughout Old San Juan, he made sure to highlight the most important areas, and also made a personalized stop due to our interest in trying piraguas (local Puerto Rican snow cones/shaved ice). When we drove by the cat sanctuary, because we expressed an interest in taking time to pet all of the Puerto Rican cats that gathered there, he said it was no problem to take the time to do so and waited patiently. In all honesty, I have been on many different private tours in my years of travel, and none of them even compare/stand out, or come close to the level of professionalism we experienced with Javier on the Old San Juan tour.In general, my husband is an extremely hard sell on things, and even he left with rave reviews, which blew my mind. I honestly expected my son, who is 6 years old, to tire halfway through the tour, but Javier found ways to keep him engaged throughout the whole 5 hour tour.He beautifully accommodated the need for us to balance walking with driving due to my husband's extra heat sensitivity, making sure to ask along the way if we would like to get out at certain stops, or would rather stay in his very well air conditioned van, driving by important highlights instead. In the end, we all left with a sense of fulfillment, catering to our own needs and interests. I even reached out to my families travel agent of many years to make sure she put Javier and his tour on the top of her list to recommend to anyone and everyone of her clients that were traveling to Puerto Rico in the future as a must do excursion and tour. Well done and thank you Javier!

This was a wonderful excursion!!! Angel, our tour operator was just fantastic, knowledgeable, ready to answer every question. He was very attentive to us throughout our tour making sure we didn’t need for anything. I highly recommend this tour if you want the best of both worlds in one day. 👍👍👍

Our guides Angel and Annie were great. Nice van, and very professional. Angels knowledge of Puerto Rico was amazing. Very pleasant and answered ALL my questions as though he wrote the book. Very intuitive as well, combining history with native insight to give us a true locals perspective. We saw the forts of Old San Juan as well as the beautiful cobblestone streets, then off to the rainforest. Stopped at some interesting sites, including some local street food, accompanied by by bits of local knowledge and history, then up the mountain to a great waterfall. A great experience that left me more enlightened to the beautiful island. Thank you both.

Angel and Annie did a great job! Extremely knowledgable about the tour stops and about Puerto Rico in general. Highly recommend.

Angel and Annie were so friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. What a great way to experience the history and beauty of San Juan and Puerto Rico. Highly recommend this tour and will definitely hire them again when we return to Puerto Rico!

Angel was great. He knows Puerto Rico history. He showed us less traveled places away from the tourist spots. It was a great private personal tour for a family. There were 4 of us. Great trip. Highly recommend.

Angel and Annie were truly amazing. Angel’s knowledge and history of San Juan and Puerto Rico was vast and gave so much information. Information that you would not otherwise get on another tour. The day was relaxing and stress free and I would highly recommend this tour when visiting San Juan whether it be by ship or an extended visit. This was truly an outstanding tour and a great day in San Juan.

Fantastic Private TourLoved our time with Angel and Annie. The tour started with a prompt pick up at our hotel. The vehicle was new, roomy, clean and with great air conditioning. We toured Old San Juan and then headed to El Yunque. We learned so much from Angel. We were able to take an easy hike to a beautiful river for a swim. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. My family, including our 11 year old loved it

What a fantastic tour of Old San Juan and El Yunque. Angel and Annie started out by picking us up at our hotel. The sprinter van was like new, clean and had great air conditioning. We traveled through San Juan will multiple stops to take pictures and learned so much about the city. We then headed to El Yunque. Angel is so knowledgeable about the island. Even my 11 year old enjoyed all the facts about the island. We then took a short and easy hike through El Yunque and a dip in the river! I would highly recommended this tour (and tour company) to anyone who wants an enjoyable, PRIVATE tour around Puerto Rico. Thank you Angel and Annie!

We had a perfect day with Angel. I can't recommend this tour enough to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. It was low key, informative and fun for everyone on our group. We loved the flexibility of a private tour, so we could work with Angel to choose the best stops for our grou.

Angel is very personable and friendly. The tour was exactly as described and is an excellent way to see and learn about Viego San Juan and see another side of Puerto Rico as well.

Angel the tour guide and Anne the driver and his wife were excellent tour guides. We enjoyed every stop and the wealth of knowledge Angel shared with us. It was a wonderful way to experience San Juan and other areas of Puerto Rico. In one day we saw and learned about Old San Juan and enjoyed the beauty of El Yunque National Forest. Another fun part was taking the scenic route to the rain forest and stopping by a road side stand for a delicious bite to eat. We highly recommend this trip.
