One of the best experiences of my life! We were lucky to have such an experienced and kind crew to make sure we got the most out of our time. Sofia Vegas was our photographer, and she took some of the most amazing pictures and videos for us! Also huge thank you to our guide Louise to get us positioned in the water correctly and making us feel safe and comfortable the whole time, as well as Captain Andrew for his kindness and skill. A perfect morning of varied snorkeling experiences!
This was a fantastic snorkeling excursion! Alex is such a cool guy, very professional, but also super laid back. He made us feel welcome and comfortable from the start. He is super knowledgeable about the lagoon and the wildlife. The small group size of 7 guests for our trip was very chill. This is definitely a “snorkeling centric” excursion, so if you love to snorkel, this is definitely for you. Alex was able to comfortably include four different experiences into our half-day trip. First, he laid out two tow ropes, each with a wooden handle toward the boat and another at the end of the rope. He then towed us all around at a comfortable speed around an area of the lagoon where we saw several sea turtles and four spotted eagle rays beneath us! Then, we got back in the boat and headed to a sand bar area where we were in chest deep water swimming with sting rays and black tip reef sharks. Alex had some sardines, which attracted a variety of lagoon fish in addition to the rays and sharks. It was like swimming in an aquarium, everything was super close! After this we headed to a “coral garden” between two motus. We were given almost an hour to snorkel on our own in this area. We swam against a current out toward the reef and then drifted back toward the boat. We saw lots of great coral and fish! It was also just a stunning screen saver type location. You could stand easily in the water (in sandy spots in between coral heads) and take in the scene. In this area there are a number of private sort of beach hut/restaurant or hang out spots on the motus. Alex mentioned there are tours available for a day at the beach at these locations, which would be super cool to do. After this Alex took us to what he called his “secret spot.” This was another area in the lagoon where we could snorkel out toward the reef and observe lots of coral and sea life. The blue and other vibrant clams were a new and unique thing for us. We had ample time to snorkel here before heading back to shore. Throughout, Alex was explaining where we should go and what he was going to do and what we would see. He was always very reassuring that we would be safe and why we would be safe if we followed his guidance. He was very observant of all of us from the boat. He was in the water with us at the sand bar. We cannot say enough about what a great host and guide Alex is. You should definitely spend a half-day with Alex!

We spent the day at the Bora Bora Activities Center and we couldn't have been better inspired. The young woman who welcomed us at the reception was absolutely adorable. We were then taken care of by Manu and Tea who were perfect. All our questions were answered and kindness was present throughout the day.Having a health problem and being short of breath, I thought I would only do half of the water entries, like in my past experiences. But Manu offered me a buoy that he towed each time, taking care to ask me regularly how I was doing. I didn't miss anything from the day and I am truly grateful to him for it.The meal on the motu and the show that followed: everything was perfect.My husband and I recommend it 200%. We will remember this magnificent day and regret that there are not more guides like Manu and Tea. Thanks again to you Manu and Tea. Corinne (Coco) and Eric

We booked the private tour to go in search of whales in Moorea and we were not disappointed. Having the boat all to ourselves was really a plus. It was much more pleasant and quiet than a group outing; we could take our time, ask our questions, and fully enjoy the outing. The guide explained a lot of things to us about whale behavior and clearly explained the instructions to us before getting into the water. We felt confident from start to finish. After a short search, we finally found a singing male. It was already incredible to see him from the boat, but being able to observe him in the water was truly a special moment. It is clearly one of the best memories of our trip to Polynesia. If you want to see the whales in Moorea in good conditions and especially enjoy a truly pleasant and personalized moment, we recommend this outing with our eyes closed. Thanks again for this magnificent day!

The best of the best! How can one talk about this activity without mentioning William! This guide is just extraordinary. Funny, kind, competent, and endearing. Beyond the countless sharks, rays, and turtles that we were able to observe during this day, William is and will certainly remain the best encounter. Songs, ukulele, cultural information about the island, traditions, cuisine, hat making, sarong tying, or even medicinal plants, this outing was very rich. The boats are made up of a limited number of people, making the experience more intimate. We highly recommend this activity.

After our incredible whale-swimming experience, we specifically asked to have Kimia and Robert again for our lagoon tour, and the company kindly accommodated our request. They were extremely helpful and professional. And once again, the experience was amazing. We swam through the lagoon with Kimia, who explained everything about the different fish and marine life we encountered — and she even took videos of us with our own GoPro, which was such a lovely extra touch. We swam with sea turtles, two different species of rays, blacktip reef sharks and lots of beautiful tropical fish. Being surrounded by all that marine life in Moorea’s lagoon was absolutely unforgettable. After two tours with them, we can only say it again: Robert and Kimia are the best! They made both experiences incredibly special. We absolutely recommend this tour — and Moorea Moana Tours — to anyone visiting Moorea.
