I've had a long standing dream to look a whale in the eye in the wild. And I can now say I've done so! Kevin was a great guide, I felt safe with him. They do seem to fully respect the animals. We unfortunately had very poor visability due to previous night's rain downpour, but we were still able to experience the magic of a mama whale and her (2 week old?) calf. We could only see mama above the water when she came up due to murky water, but she was close! The baby was curious and came super close to us and entered our limited field of vision. My heart skipped a beat when I looked it in the eye. Pure magic! I wish it had been a boat with only 6 swimmers - they take 12 so you do have to split into two groups which perhaps limits time in the water. But we knew that going in and just grateful we got a spot and were able to swim. 100% recommend!! Māuruuru!!

Our snorkeling tour with Manu and Nono was our favorite part of our honeymoon! The full day tour was 100% worth it. Manu is so energetic, funny and welcoming, and Nono was an experienced boat captain who helped everyone feel comfortable. I am not an experienced snorkeler, but my husband is, and the excursion was the perfect level for both of us. The lunch was delicious, and we got to see around the entire island of Bora Bora. Pickup was very easy at our resort and we were right on time for pickup and drop off. Manu also sang for us and the fire dance was incredible! We recommended the tour to other couples at our resort and they loved it too.

Such a great experience! Not only did we have fun and get to see many awesome vistas, we learned a lot about the local culture, topography and history! Highly recommend this tour!

It was wonderful! The guide and captain (I think they rotate people for different days/events) were so knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and great to be around. The boat ride itself was fantastic - lots of fun areas to hang out on the boat, sailing felt very smooth. Great views and lots of opportunities to take nice photos. And the group we went with was so nice and great to get to know a bit! The snorkeling experience itself was beautiful, relaxing, and educational! I had the exact experience I hoped for - something relaxing, adventurous, immersive, and with great people.

We booked two tours with Lagoon Vibes and were absolutely not disappointed. Ivy gave it her all and, together with Christoph, made sure we had an amazing day out on the water.After only a short time, we were already in the water with a mother and her calf, accompanied by an escort. It was truly one of the most beautiful moments of my life. We were able to observe the group for a long time, sometimes from incredibly close by. The curious little calf kept coming back to the surface and seemed to inspect us!We eventually returned to the boat — but not for long. Two adult whales were nearby, and once again we had the incredible opportunity to get into the water and see them up close.What we especially loved about Lagoon Vibes was how warm and welcoming Ivy is and how much passion she puts into every tour. The scenery was beautiful. It was so cool to learn about the Marble Eels and the pineapple fields. Our guide Mauta was a lot of fun and did excellent job of showing us a great time. I highly recommend this adventure.

We were lucky enough to go whale watching with Captain Mahai and Kevin. After a bit of searching on the water, we were welcomed underwater by a very curious male and his female. No need to even get close; they came to say hello all on their own. An incredible and unforgettable experience!

Communication and hotel pickup was super easy! The guides were so fun and knowledgeable. They give you a rundown of how oysters are farmed and then take you to the area that their oysters are and you get to select the one you want. Then you take it back and they open it for you to reveal your pearl! They guarantee that you leave with a pearl.

Pleasant way to travel between the islands. The ride is smooth, there is food on board and the views are fantastic.

It's a great way to experience the island. Our guide Angel gave us the history of the island and happily answered our questions. Those with limited mobility may miss some sites as there is some walking involved.

This is a great Jet ski tour. You get to tour the island as well as stop at two areas to snorkel. This is better then going with a boat excursions. You get to have fun on the jet ski. See some beautiful scenery and snorkel with the sharks/ rays and around some very nice coral. Highly recommend.
