Top Sintra Overnight Tours

The Algarve was a beautiful surprise. The coastline, cliffs, and beaches were amazing, and the two-day format gave us enough time to enjoy everything without rushing.

Without a doubt, one of the best tours I've ever booked. The Algarve's coastline is spectacular, and having a private guide made the experience unforgettable.

We had an excellent time on our tours! Felipe was our guide and he was friendly and informative. We saw so many wonderful places in a very short time, thanks to his careful planning.

Wonderful tour, the team stuck to the scheduled time and also the agreed stretch. With great security and an exceptional guide, he made our stay in Portugal sensational. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt.

A fantastic two days in Algarve and Sintra from Lisbon. Although the Algarve day trip is a long day - it was fabulous to see the various sites especially the formations of the Benagil caves. Sintra is just something else from a magical kingdom. Jorge our guide from Fantastic Ride was pre-prepared and made the suggestion to change the days around to suit the weather - which was great as doing the Algarve in wet weather would have defeated the purpose. On the Sintra day, once again Jorge recommended we move the itinerary around so that outdoor things were done whilst the skies held up. Being vegetarians, Jorge went out of his way to find us places to eat that would suit us - and wow did he find these little gems of places for us! We carried on to do a 3rd day of Lisbon tour and this too was well managed by Jorge.

This was our first trip to Portugal and I reached out to our hotel Corpo Santo Lisbon for recommendation of a private tour company. Luckily for us they recommended FantasticRide. The online booking process was seamless and their website easy to navigate with a myriad of tour options, we opted for 2 half day tours , Sintra and Lisbon respectively. Our first day was supposed to be Sintra but our guide Filipe thoughtfully suggested flipping to Lisbon as the weather was cloudy and he didn’t want the weather to detract from our experience. Lisbon is a beautiful city and Filipe was the perfect guide. His knowledge as expected was extensive but it was the personal anecdotes and tidbits at each highlight that made the tour. We never felt rushed and Filipe made sure we even had time for coffee and the heavenly Pasteis de Belem after visiting Jeronimos Monastery - do not miss the opportunity! Sintra the next day was again amazing - Sintra, Peña Palace and surrounds are like stepping back in time and Filipe again regaled us with all the history we could ask for - again what you expect from a guide but it was more like traveling with an old friend. So much so that we asked him to do our transfer from Lisbon to Porto rather than taking the train . He is simply the best! If you are traveling to Portugal, look no further , book Fantastic Ride and ask for Filipe!!!

We loved discovering quiet beaches and scenic viewpoints away from the crowds. The flexibility of a private tour made a huge difference, and the guide tailored the itinerary to our interests. Fantastic experience!

Our guide Rui was a perfect balance of being punctual and informative and yet giving our group space to enjoy our time together. Planned many great options, but also allowed for change when needed (such as adding 2 passengers last minute!) His driving was also the best I experienced from a guide or driver. I would use his service again and highly recommend to anyone!

2 day tour tailored to your desires. Very comfortable vehicle for transportation. We saw many beautiful places in the algarve. Our guide Rui was amazing. He was so kind and helpful and he was a great driver. He took us to many places we could not have found on our own and made the whole experience very enjoyable. He had great recommendations for restaurants and made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to spend our last few Days of our vacation.

We had a great experience on our two day tour to the Algarve with Rui. He was very responsive and took care of our every need. He tailored the trip to our interests and made great recommendations for restaurants. We saw some beautiful places we never would have found on our own. He also took some great photos of our group. I would really recommend this company !!

Very thorough exploration of the south Portugal coast and the Algarve. We felt like we really got to explore all the areas we wanted to see, included some off the beaten path places which were so enjoyable. We loved this ares so much!

Our van trip from the Algarve to Lisbon was easily one of the highlights of our time in Portugal and a huge part of that was thanks to Hugo. From the start, Hugo made the entire experience feel relaxed and personalized. He wasn’t just a driver getting us from point A to point B he truly elevated the journey. He happily made stops wherever we wanted, whether it was for a scenic overlook, a charming town, or the perfect photo opportunity. As a photographer, that flexibility meant everything, and I was able to capture some incredible images along the way.Hugo also went the extra mile in every sense—providing water, sharing insightful details about the towns and regions we passed through, and creating an atmosphere that felt more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than a service. What really stood out, though, was his kindness and integrity. After I accidentally left behind my camera tripod in the van, Hugo went completely out of his way to make sure it was returned to me. That level of care and effort is rare, and it speaks volumes about the kind of person he is.If you’re considering a trip through Portugal, I can’t recommend Hugo enough. Professional, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful he made an already beautiful journey unforgettable.

Glad we took the overnight tour so we didn’t feel rushed or exhausted. Benagil caves were incredible and our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and flexible to find the right fit of additional sites to visit. We even took a short ride over the border into Spain. Highly recommend this tour to friends and family visiting Lisbon.

Our guide Fatima was more than a tour guide..She made us feel like friends who came for a visit. She was very knowledgeable with history, and great with parking!! And she also took us to a fabulous restaurant that I sure would not have found on my own. What a great trip. I would highly recommend this trip.

We saw a lot in just 2 days. The beaches in Algarve were amazing, and the weather was perfect. The guide picked us up on time and was very kind. We learned about local culture and enjoyed the peaceful places. I really recommend this trip!
