Williamsburg Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Well, all I can say is this tour is well worth the money. Our driver believing his name was Jerry was amazing. Well spoken and funny. He made the tour well worth the trip. Even though it rained the whole time he did the best he could to accommodate us. I give two thumbs up make that four my wife says two of hers. The lunch that you get included in this tour was actually really good and plentiful.

Very entertaining and magic was awesome. We could not figure out how the tricks/illusions were done. Husband and wife team are living their dream and we wish them lots of success.

Our guide was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and delivered the information in such an engaging manner.

This tour provided a lot of information about the lead up to the revolution. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable.

I liked Colonial Williamsburg a great deal. It certainly took 3 days to see it all and there were many interesting performances.

The Wagsters put on a fantastic show!! So worth the time and money. They involve the audience , they’re very personable, and the “magic” is great. Small theater so all of the seats are good. The atmosphere is high energy. I highly recommend The Wagsters Magic Theater!! Great for all ages. You won’t be disappointed.

Loved our ghost tour! Our guide was fabulous!!

It was informative, engaging, captivating, and full of humor. Mike was an awesome guide, ready with lots of stories and tidbits about the history of the area and the characters that still, supposedly, inhabit the houses. Great experience, we would highly recommend it.

We had A Lot of fun with our guide Gracie! We learned so much about colonial Williamsburg and got A Lot of “interesting “ pics!! I was very thankful it wasn’t hard to keep up with the group, I have a hard time walking fast. I was able to keep up and the whole group had a lot of fun! You can’t go wrong with doing this!!

It was fun a bit diffferent using the equipment than just hearing stories. Entertaining and a bit spooky

Excellent tour - guide and information on Colonial Williamsburg history. I believe our guide was Louis who was excellent, passionate, full of information and very accommodating a woman in a motorized vehicle. One suggestion to Cool Destinations - the meeting place given was a street address. There are no numbers on the buildings on the old colonial street. Recommend just identifying a building by name and not the address. Of 12 people in our group, every on had trouble finding the meeting place. Four people called and caught up 15 minutes late!

Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and very much enjoyed our tour. I would highly recommend this guide and this Williamsburg tour.

I have this 5 stars for "Value for Money" only because we had a coupon and paid $1. I do not think it's worth $25. At the Yorktown Battlefield Museum, they had a free audio guide you could download for a driving tour as well. Now we didn't do that one so do not know the quality. We did enjoy this narrator and the fact that if you missed a turn, it tells you. We shared ear buds. It worked great. We learned a lot.
