Bambi was an incredible guide for our Yorktown Battlefield tour. We brought our 9-year-old with us, and she did a wonderful job making the experience engaging and enjoyable for all of us. She was personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-versed not only in the subject matter of the tour, but in the broader history surrounding it as well. She was very generous with her time and had such an easy, comfortable manner. We learned so much and would highly recommend her!

This was a great experience, so anyone visiting should wear closed toed comfortable shoes for there will be plenty of walking. Bambi was our tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable of all aspects of Yorktown and surrounding areas. It was extremely hot the day we visited but Bambi was very good at reading the room! We took many breaks and stopped a few times for drinks and overall was a pleasant experience. Bambi would always check on us to see how we were doing throughout the tour and was able to answer every question we had for her! If you love history and enjoy being in the company of a knowledgeable and pleasant guide, Bambi is the person and Yorktown is the place!

Amazing full day tour with knowledgeable local guide. Bambi took us through Jamestown and Yorktown, sharing stories and history along the way. She communicated prior to the tour about where to meet and our interests. Thanks to this tour we learned and experienced so much at both places, rather than spending hours reading museum displays. She also knew all the great family photo spots and provided recommendations while we were visiting elsewhere. Price may seem expensive but it is worth it, if you want to dive deep into all Jamestown and Yorktown have to offer.

When I booked this tour I was looking for something fun and off the beaten path to do with my family on our vacation, what I was not expecting was to find one of this area’s historic gems. These is soooo much history here it was astonishing, and the property and the grounds where beautiful. I was totally blown away.Out guide Bambi was a delight and was incredible and was even about to answer some of my questions I had not beenable to get on some of our other her guides we had worked with. The service was great and she was very helpful and even customized it on the fly with information that she thought we would find interesting based on different things we had talked about!This was truly an unexpected highlight of our time in Williamsburg, and I would highly recommend this tour and this location to an person or persons who was looking to add a little some extra to there trip, or who was interested in a historical gem in this area.Truly enjoyed our entire experience, thank you Bambi! Best tour I've ever taken! Bambi is a wealth of knowledge, knows all of the spots to stop and shared the most interesting history and details. She is kind and patient and a lot of fun. She has all of the best photo opportunities, as well. If you want to see Jamestown and Yorktown in a day, you must book with Bambi! Our group of 6 was super comfortable in her vehicle. We will be back!

My wife and I experienced an afternoon Yorktown tour with Bambi. We try to book private tours, when possible, as we get much more out of them compared to group tours. We had read some of the reviews about Bambi, and they were true. She was an outstanding guide - it was more like being shown around by a friend. Her knowledge was excellent and she was able to answer all our questions. And she provided tips on other things to do in the area. Definitely recommend.
