This trip was a very cool experience that included awesome views and unbelievable sights. The tour of Resurrection bay was a bucket list trip.

Wonderful day! The ship was clean and comfortable. The crew were prefessional, friendly and knowledgable about the area, plants and animals and what we were seeing. Excellent half day cruise.

We had a fantastic experience with Major Marine Tours. We were lucky to have perfect weather with blue skies and calm water, and no one in our group got seasick. We visited two glaciers, and the captain stayed long enough for everyone to witness several impressive calving events.The captain also did a great job spotting wildlife and positioning the boat so passengers could get a good view. During the tour, we saw whales, sea otters, mountain sheep, and even a bear. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept the experience enjoyable from start to finish.Although the tour was about 7.5 hours long, the time flew by because there was always something interesting to see. The boat was also in excellent condition, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

After seeing various youtube videos recommending this particular tour, my husband and I booked the 8.5 hour cruise since it guaranteed whale viewing and glaciers.This is a truly a bucket list experience. We stayed at the Seward 360 hotel that they operate out of so check in was a breeze, they let you know what animals were sighted on the previous tours and give you a map with a guide of all of the animals that you can spot. They recommend taking dramamine for the rough waters, we got EXTREMELY lucky with the waves that were practically nonexistent that day. I was a little apprehensive about spending so many hours on a boat if we were be bored, I was also pregnant so worried about the waves but omg what an experience.We spotted every animal on the guide. There was never a dull moment and we would pull over for whales, eagles, seals, puffins, otters, and glaciers. Our captain John was incredible and Rowan & Sam offered to take pictures and point out other animals. When we first left everyone was in seats in the top deck but once the boat was moving people spread out some went to sit downstairs in the cafe and then there was plenty of viewing space and opportunity to see everything. It never felt crowded or rushed to see anything. If they would spot a whale or animal the boat would stop, announce where it was, and wait patiently so everyone could see and watch as the animal made its way around. Seeing a whale so close in real life was breathtaking!!! We brought binoculars as well which was helpful especially to see the seals on the ice all around the glaciers (an unreal view they were EVERYWHERE).The lunch is a sandwich chips and a soda, they also have coffee and tea onboard and some drinks that they make with ice straight from the glacier! We had a brownie on the way back which was a nice touch.The experience was 10/10, do not hesitate to spend 8 and a half hours with these experts on a boat. It was worth every single minute for the unforgettable experience of spending a day in this unique landscape and seeing these animals in real life. Get on the "Orca Song" you won't regret it!!!

I had a phenomenal experience on this tour with Major Marine Tours. From the start they were incredibly welcoming to everyone on board. It was a rough water day in the gulf, but they were so kind & thoughtful to everyone on board ensuring they were taken care of if they were getting sick. The captain took the smoothest route possible to ensure maximum comfort. It was so appreciated & I know those who felt unwell were extremely well cared for.On the tour we saw so much wildlife! Right out of the harbor we saw a pair of mated eagles. My absolutely favorite thing was seeing a smack of moon jellies & floating over them (I may have shed a tear, they were stunning!). We also saw two black bears on the cliffs, porpoise, seals, sea lions, otters, and mountain goats. We spent 30 minutes at one of the largest glaciers in Alaska & was able to witness it calving several times. On the way to & from we saw several waterfalls & they even dipped us under one! The scenery was STUNNING.I can’t recommend this tour enough.

An incredible day exploring Kenai Fjords. The scenery was spectacular, with stunning glaciers up close, rugged coastline, and plenty of wildlife along the way. The cruise was well organised, comfortable, and the crew were friendly and informative. A fantastic experience and definitely a highlight of our Alaska trip!

It was great. Close to the face of a glacier, two bears, two goats, two bald eagles, lots of rock formations, jellyfish, porpoises.Not for people with motion sickness problems.

This tour a great way to see a bit more of Alaska before flying home after our cruise. Our tour guide Daniel was awesome! He communicated with us before pick up and made small stops along the way for us to get out and take photos. He was also very knowledgeable about Kenai Fjords National Park and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. We had some of the best pizza during our lunch stop. We visited Earthquake Park before dropping off all the passengers with a flight that day and then Daniel dropped us off at our Midtown hotel.

Daniel, our driver and guide, did an excellent job communicating with us before and during the tour. The evening before, he confirmed our pickup time at the Seward cruise terminal and explained exactly what type of van to look for. He also promptly answered my follow-up questions the next morning.He arrived on time, quickly got us loaded, and efficiently located the other guests who arrived just in time for departure. We especially appreciated the Ziplock snack bag and bottled water, since lunch was not until about 2:00 p.m.The tour included all of the stops listed on the itinerary. One highlight was our hike to the Kenai Fjords glacier viewing point. We even had a moose run across the trail in front of us—apparently not unusual, according to the park rangers!Daniel included several additional scenic and interesting stops that made the drive from Seward to Anchorage enjoyable and helped the time pass quickly. We arrived at the Anchorage airport around 5:00 p.m., giving us plenty of time to check in and relax before our 8:00 p.m. flight.There were four couples in our van, and everyone had plenty of room to sit comfortably. The van was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Overall, this was a well-organized, enjoyable, and stress-free way to travel from Seward to Anchorage while seeing more of beautiful Alaska along the way.

If you need transportation from Seward to Anchorage this is a great option all in 2.5 hours. Pro Tip: If you find yourself waiting for hours after your cruise ends and your bus tour begins, you can wait inside the Terminal with your luggage. About 1 hour before the bus tour, Ginny, our wonderful driver, found us waiting & provided instructions. She did this with all parties waiting there. Ginny was organized and shared relevant fun facts all along our journey. She is a safe driver, with great jokes!

This was a long day! Thankfully the seas were calm on our cruise day. All 4 of us took some Dramamine though just in case. The cruise took us to lots of very interesting spots and we saw a lot of sea life. This boat was smaller than one we took on an earlier cruise in our vacation so this one could navigate into some tighter spots and could move faster. When our captain learned on a whale sighting they were able to get us to the spot quickly. It was a fun day.
