Seward Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

This is highly recommended. I did the 7.5 hr trip . Super well organised despite numbers and always space to see . Get allocated table , lunch was a generous filled sandwich , crisps snack and drink ( other foods can be purchased through the tour £ and can wander round ship to see what need and want to see .. good space for everyone outside for this . Fantastic Captain with great commentary and great crew .. good team spirit . Easy location to pick up . Amazing scene and wildlife with perfect background commentary and alerts seeing the spectacular Holgate and Aialuk Glaciers .. the latter “ calving “ .. a stunning and amazing day ..

Great time for all ages. Saw lots of wildlife. Plenty of spots to move around the boat. Staff was great.

Great friendly crew! Very knowledgeable. Took care to make sure everyone had a chance to see & take photos. Wife got motion sick and they took care of her! Worth the trip!

Such an incredible tour! One of my favorite tours to do in Alaska. We had great views for nature and wildlife, even got lucky enough to see a Fin Whale! Our crew (Captain Greg, Karlee, and Aidan) took such good care of us! It was truly a customized experience!

This cruise is worth every penny! The glaciers and wildlife viewing were out of this world, we saw orcas, sea lions, puffins, seals, and sea otters! Also, you couldn’t ask for a better crew. They treated guests like family, made sure everyone was well-fed, and went out of their way to make sure we were all having a great time. 10 out of 10 experience, cannot recommend enough!

This worked perfectly for our trip from Anchorage to Seward. Of course, do your own research as well. I will definitely consider this on any of our scenic road trips now.

The trip and guides were excellent. I unfortunately got very sea sick despite taking Dramamine when first getting on the boat “just to be safe”. I highly recommend taking Dramamine a few hours prior to the cruise so it has time to work or even getting a prescription/ OTC scopolamine patch (amazing anti nausea for sea sickness) I didn’t expect to get sea sick so I wasn’t as prepared as I should have been but despite the sea sickness it was still an absolutely incredible experience and would still do it again, just a bit more prepared next time!! We saw all kinds of wildlife and glaciers, absolutely once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend if you are considering.

Adam was a great driver and tour guide. Was more than willing to allow us all the time we wanted at each planned stop. Only six of us in total. Sure beats the cruise line transportation crowds.

I did a cruise but my flights were outside of their transfer guidelines. Looking for a reliable company to transfer me, my bf, my mom, and cousin from Seward to anchorage was worrisome. My mom and cousin are on the older side and this is a long transfer. BUT THIS TRANSFER WAS AMAZING! We had a blast! I was fully prepared to ride a motorcoach but since there was only 10 of us heading to the airport, we rode in a sprinter van. It was very spacious and comfortable. Ginny gave us interesting facts about the area on the way to the airport(that was my favorite part)! She offered a bathroom break for us half way since we didn’t have a restroom onboard like the motorcoach has. Surprisingly my elders did not need it, no one on board actually opted in for the stop so we kept going. I think everyone was having so much fun taking on the views and information. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND! And see if you can request Ginny! She is awesome!

We had a very peaceful kayak on the lake. Enjoyed listening to our knowledgeable guide, Rob, and glad they kept it to a very small group.

There were probably 20 different buses out side the terminal. I had to call Cool Destinations because they did not communicate what company they booked us through. Be sure to get that information.! Then check in at appropriate kiosk,where you get your luggage before proceeding out of the terminal

I booked this tour because I had a late flight out of Anchorage and wanted to see more wildlife and glaciers. It did not disappoint. We made several stops a scenic sites for pics and saw several glaciers and wildlife. If you're looking for a way to fill your day from Seward to Anchorage this is a nice option.

Captain was very nice, and knowledgeable! We had such a great time, saw several different of the animals that were advertised!

We went in shoulder season at the beginning of September, but had a very lovely day for a hike. Tour offered a convenient pickup and drop off from our hotel in Seward. Hike itself was suitable for all ages and not too long or difficult. Our tour guide Deb was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable of the area and of glaciers in general from her many years living and working in the region. She was patient and very supportive of my aging parents who had a lovely time as well. Thanks so much Deb!
