Really worth it, the guide was excellent, the food was very good, wasn't too rushed - though we did over run.

We got off the plane at 9:00 a.m. and somehow thought a 12:30 food tour was a good idea.Turns out—it was a GREAT idea. Best first day ever!Mimir was fantastic—funny, knowledgeable and the perfect person to introduce us to Reykjavík. We walked, ate, laughed and learned our way around the city while trying foods we definitely would not have discovered on our own.Icelandic hot dogs? Absolutely.Fresh fish? Delicious.Rye bread ice cream? Who knew?! At home we turn leftover bread into bread pudding. Apparently Icelanders looked at theirs and thought, “Let’s make ice cream.” Brilliant.And then there was the fermented shark. 😂 Let’s just say we came to Iceland for an adventure, and Mimir made sure we got one.Considering we had just stepped off an overnight flight a few hours earlier, we expected to be exhausted. Instead, we ended the tour completely energized and feeling like we already knew Reykjavík.If you’re coming to Iceland, book this tour at the beginning of your trip. Come hungry, bring your sense of adventure, and when Mimir hands you the shark…well, you’ve come this far. 😂What a fabulous welcome to Iceland!

Wonderful trip on the glacier! High winds made it challenging but our guide made it an amazing experience!

Me and my husband come to Iceland for our honeymoon and this was our first longer tour we booked! Richie and Pawvel were absolutely amazing!! We learned so much and had such a great time. The atmosphere they both helped create was very welcoming and kind. We even got some rough weather and Pawvel killed it!! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience I would definitely recommend

Becyase this depends on nature, this is a bit of a pot luck option, but they know what they are doing and have spotters checking the horizon. In the end we say a pair of hump back whales. The trip out into the bay was also really good.

Highly recommended! Some of the natural wonders and marvels of Iceland in a day trip. Our guide and driver, Höskuldur (”call me Hershey”) was delightful, highly informative and went out of his way to be helpful.

This is a great way to see the beach and enjoy being on an Icelandic Horse for an hour. The horses are well-behaved and well-cared for, and the guides are friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped on the beach and they took pictures for everyone. I've read reviews complaining about the fact that you only walk. We have found this not to be true. There were three guides, in case some wanted to go faster (just for a few minutes, but we still got the experience of "tolting"), and other people wanted to stay back and go slower. If you are looking for a fast-paced long ride, find a private tour. I am an experienced rider and knew what the expectations were ahead of time, and was not disappointed. One other complaint I saw was that if you're late they do not wait for you. This is true. You need to get there 15 mintues early at a minimum to prepare. We left promptly at the top of the hour. If people are late, they are holding people up and they don't have the time for fitting a helmet and important instructions. I highly recommend Vik Horse Tour for a nice relaxing ride on the beautiful black sand beach.

Learned about the sense of the name of the Smokey Bay

We enjoyed our visit to Perlan, and learned a lot of the geology, plants, & animals of the island. The volcano simulator was very cool experience. We walked to the museum from city center, about 30 minutes, not bad if the weather is ok.

The Blue Lagoon can only be described, as one of the best experiences, that we have ever had. However, despite being very expensive, If we could only do one thing again in Iceland, it would be a return to the Blue Lagoon. The only issue was the pick-up service. We booked with Cool Destinations and were led to believe, that we would be picked up outside our hotel and taken directly to the Blue Lagoon. That wasn’t the case. You go by a shared bus, to the Bus Station and then have to wait for another bus, to drop you outside the Blue Lagoon. Despite this, we would still use Cool Destinations. The Blue Lagoon is a must-do in Iceland and we highly recommended it.

So beautiful!!! The weather was a mix of sunny at times, and light, brief rain. Being in the lagoon through it all was great. This is the most famous lagoon in the Reykjavik area, so expect to be around mainly tourists. There were a lot of people, but the lagoon is big, so I never felt like it was overly crowded. If you explore, you can find quiet, less-populated areas all around the lagoon. Also, the timed entry process helps manage the crowd size. The locker rooms were clean and organized. You must shower before you get into the lagoon. So, if you don't like walking around barefoot in shared showers, bring flip-flops/shower shoes.I purchased the Signature Package for my experience, and I think the time I spent at the lagoon was worth it.

This was our favourite activity in Iceland. The guide was awesome, gave a decent amount of information on the glacier, stopped a few times on our ride up to the glacier so we could take pictures of the scenery and a reindeer. Our whole group had never been snowmobiling before so the guide was great with checking in on us throughout the activity and taking pictures of us. Even let us swap drivers at the halfway point. Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Wow! What a cool experience! I had a smile on my face throughout the 9 min ride up out over Reykjavík across the volcano erupting and back again. Only stumbled across this on our last evening in Iceland as it’s inside the Harpa concert hall which is a fabulous building. It’s on the lower ground floor.

Lorenzo, our incredible instructor, made the glacier tour an unforgettable experience. He provided fascinating insights into the glacier’s history, and it was truly awe-inspiring to witness its grandeur before it might disappear.The price was undoubtedly worth it.We had a bit of a time overrun, but I was still thoroughly satisfied with the duration of the tour.The crowd size and atmosphere were perfect, creating an ideal setting for an immersive experience.This tour is a must-do for anyone seeking an extraordinary adventure!

Very knowledgeable. Happy to share his wisdom. Explained all the different aspects of finding northern lights. He was able to find a break in the clouds, and we got to see them!
