Tucson Arizona brings visitors into the heart of the Sonoran Desert for a taste of the Old West with a big spicy dash of Mexican culture thrown in. Incorporated in 1877, Tucson is the oldest city in Arizona. During the late 1800s just before Arizona became a state, this historic town saw plenty of frontier action in the form of Apache Indian attacks, stage coach robberies, and gunfighter duels. Tucson is a desert oasis and the iconic saguaro cactus marks the skyline on all sides. It’s great fun to explore the city and the desert hills, visit the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, then tour the town by bike sampling Mexican food so good that Tucson was named as America’s first UNESCO City of Gastronomy.

My husband and I went on the guided trail ride and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the views were spectacular!
Excellent balance between safety and adventure...great for kids to senior citizens... we had 12, 24, 50, and 51 year old in our group. Awesome!

Relaxed intro and greetings w/ our horses. Nice ride through amazing country with a little up and down but easy for beginner riders. Some excitement with deer running across our path and one sporty mom getting a bit unsteady at one point... but the guide reassured her and we wrapped things up just as nice as we had finished. Amazing crew... loved it!

Steve was a great guide! He’s easy going and personable, has all sorts of local knowledge and knows a lot about food. Tasting all these local flavors was a very pleasant and delicious experience! There was enough time to enjoy the food and explore a few local historic gems! I highly recommend this tour!

This was an enjoyable safe experience. The ebike was in good condition and comfortable to ride. The group was small and our guide shared her knowledge of the area and ensured everyone had a good time. Initially I had booked an afternoon tour but decided to change it to the morning, which was accommodated without issue. Over all I would recommend this activity and company. The tour did not require any real level of fitness, the bike does all the work and was easy to operate.

90% is on blacktop, 10% short dirt off trail. No problem. You do need to be able to compently handle a bike. Don't assume an E bike is some how easier to handle. Even though it was mid October, it was 100 degrees the day of our trip! Bring plenty of water. The vendor had all one size bikes and the seat height was a real problem for my wife who has over 1000 miles on her full size step thru e bike. The owner/tour guide recognized this issue and said he'd have a few different types in the future. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and learned a lot about this particular southwest environment. Very convenient meeting place and parking. Would do it again.

A fantastic way to explore the desert. We did both the tours. This is a great way to enjoy and learn about the park. If you like nature and road trips you should definitely check it out.

Our tour guide Craig provided an excellent city tour via e-bike. It was obvious he had spent a lot of time researching local history, safe bike routes and headsets for communicating while touring around. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend this tour!

Craig was a great guide. The entire experience was professional from start to finish. The volume adjustable earphones were a great touch. Had a great time! Our host was very knowledgeable about the history of these places, as well as many other Tucson history items. Time spent at the San Xavier Mission and Tombstone was just right, made for a wonderful day in historic places. Would definitely recommend!

Timothy is absolutely wonderful!Our flight was delayed and I had no cell service (while out of Canada) He waited a very long time for us (as we had a 2 hour flight delay)When I was finally able to connect with him he came immediately back to the airportI was very worried we would be stranded in the desert as we had a very early return flight and booking the return through Cool Destinations was not an optionTimothy was beyond reassuring and so helpful, friendly and professionalMy expectations were surpassed
