Carlos is the best!!

Carlos is the best!!
Carlos Carlos Carlos!!!! The absolute best guide I have ever had! I cannot express how amazing he was as a guide. I went under the assumption that my sister and I would be viewing instagramable art and sculptures. I had no idea that I would be having a full blown photoshoot with the best photographer and director on earth! I'm silly, I'm not coordinated. Carlos made my sister and I look like models! He taught us how to pose and feel confident. He made this experience the best I ever had!! We adore him so much.Besides all the photo locations we took, we went to this cute island to eat, which was also gorgeous. The food was great the juice amazing. Carlos was truly the best and I took way too long to wrote this because I was on vacation for quite some time. He was a real professional and didn't have any creep vibes at all which I truly appreciated. So respectable and knowledgeable.

A day in Tulum
The tour was good. The locations that were pick for photos was a good choice. The tour guides were excellent, very friendly. However the main attraction which was the sculpture garden was closed due to construction. It would have been appropriate for Cool Destinations to make us aware and let us decide if we still wanted to do the tour. In stead our payments were deducted from our accounts with our advising us of the change. I traveled from Washington DC and my sister from Ghana Africa just to experience it. We found out the morning of the tour from the tour guides who thought we knew. Cool Destinations’s failure to communicate does not take anything away from the tour or the guides. As I stated they were wonderful.

So peaceful exploring the jungle freely!! There’s a slice you can climb up and soak at the top for great pictures also. It’s fun to walk around on your own and soooo many photo opportunities. Very clean as well.

An incredible experience, both the cenotes and the art exhibition, which are of very good taste. The staff was very friendly, including the restaurant team, who adapted my order to my needs. I will definitely return!

A perfect date.
I visited Cenote Atik a week ago with my boyfriend, and we fell completely in love with the place. The cenote is super beautiful, but what really makes it unique is its decoration and artistic setups. We had a small photo session, enjoyed the cool water, and were able to relax surrounded by nature and completely disconnect. Without a doubt, it is a must-visit place if you are looking for an ideal spot for a nice date. We highly recommend it.

Highly recommended photoshoot service
The photoshoot experience was great! Had a surprise proposal photoshoot planned. Hiram was quick to respond, provided great suggestions for the planning part and managed to take the photos of proposal itself while being hidden. The photoshoot was well coordinated and was executed smoothly. Overall it was fun to work with him. The photographs were wonderful. We were fully satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!

A real life highlight!

Breathtaking Sunset at Sian Ka’an

A real life highlight!
Absolutely wonderful trip - a real life highlight. The scenery and wildlife is stunning and it was such a thrill to see manatees, crocodiles and all manner of species of birds so close up. Our guide Luis was excellent and made us feel so welcome. His knowledge is extraordinary and we learned so much , not just about the area and wildlife but about Mexican culture too. He timed the trip perfectly so after delicious freshly made cerviche and beer watching pelicans fish, we came back in the sunset watching flocks of birds come home to roost- it was sublime .

Moises was an exceptional guide

Birdwatching Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve

Moises was an exceptional guide
Moises was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, and we saw some fantastic birds. When we met, he checked my level of birding experience and asked what I wanted from the tour- and absolutely delivered. We saw quite a few toucans, orioles, hummingbirds, jays, and other beautiful birds. Moises’ enthusiasm was energising, and he took great photos that he shared. The first part of the tour (where the most birds were) was in a semi-urban area near the Sian Ka’an Biosphere reserve (it was also earliest part of the day) and then we moved to the reserve itself which has a lovely boardwalk though the jungle. There is a MXN 100 fee for entrance to the reserve and parking.

Perfectly Planned and Captured Proposal Thanks To Santiago!

Perfectly Planned and Captured Proposal Thanks To Santiago!
Santiago was instrumental in making my surprise proposal to my girlfriend a reality. He was very thorough in answering all my questions about the process and also took the time to work with me on planning and execution to ensure the proposal would be a surprise. This is despite me not being able to scout the venue for the proposal. And my girlfriend was indeed very surprised. The photos turned out wonderful and we were able to ask for certain photos to be edited to our liking as well.Additionally, I had a special request to ask for the audio/video from my proposal speech be fully captured which his videographer partner was able to take care of. The video clips were then pieced together into a montage which came out professionally edited. However, I forgot to specify that this should have been filmed in landscape instead of portrait. So remember to specify this if you have a preference! In the end, I could not have asked for a more perfect planner and photographer combination. And I would be honestly excited to work with Santiago again!
